Vero in May

Hello and thanks to all who have educated me on the DVC over the past months. I am finally gonna quit lurking and officially join the DIS board AND After all our hemming and hawing we are calling the DVC today to purchase at VWL!! Of course, last night I was trying to get to sleep, but all of these little questions kept coming into my head. I thought I would ask you all a couple of them now (I am sure more will follow later!)
(1) Is it hard to book an ocean view room at Vero in May if it isn't your home?

(2) Do all DVC resorts accept Disney Dollars as this is how we like to save spending money for our trips.

I think you will be fine getting an ocean view room for May.

And, yes - they all accept Disney Dollars. We were at Vero last month with 11 people and we must have had about $1,000 in Disney Dollars between us all. The cashier at the gift shop said she had never seen so many Disney Dollars as she did that week.

Well, we own points at BWV, VWL, and VB! We also just booked for VB (studio) for May 2. With 3 weeks notice, we were able to get what we wanted.
VB is wonderful and there is always a chance. I say if you want to book a trip, just call MS. Don't feel funny about short notice bookings, we always do them. We were able to use points for DCL with only a 3 week notice too.
