Vero Beach could be in path.....

This was just posted in the Orlando paper tonight and it says.I hope they are wrong.

The long-range forecast, subject to considerable margins of error, called for landfall around Vero Beach at midday Saturday as a fierce, Category 4 hurricane with 140-mph winds.

DH said it will turn North. I really hope he's correct.

I need all the good thoughts I can get. We are scheduled to be in our new place in Vero on Tuesday.

Everybody tell it to turn around and go somewhere else.

I think the question is...will it turn north before or after it makes landfall. Hopefully well before!

I certainly can understand your concern, but I really do not wish it to avoid Vero Beach only to hit somewhere else.

Welcome to Florida, floridafam. We have lived in Florida for four years. This could be our first hurricane experience. I keep trying to convince myself that this is better than cold and snow.

Here is a good web site to look at several computer models and the NHC forefast track. Let's push it a way from Vero!

Thank you for the clarification. After personally experiencing Charley and living here in the central Floridia area I cringe when I read some of the posts about the hurricanes.
