VENT! Towel Return!!!

The hoggers are the people who lay towels out at 7 am, for example, for a dip in the pool at 3 pm, during the busiest time, when the rest of us can't even find a chair to sit on! At VB, the people laid out their own personal towels when they arrived and NEVER picked them up until they left for home a week later!!! It just made me so mad!

Hmmm.... I thought Vero had a new policy where you couldn't put towels down until 8:00am and that any towels down before that were removed. They have a CM watching at 8:00 with kind of a rope drop. Least they had that our last visit.

That is so rude. My friends and I went to Cancun for Spring Break when I was in college. If we did not get to the pool by 8:30 AM all the chairs were "taken" with peoples towels and shirts. Some of these people would not show up until noon! We ended up on the beach most days because of this. I never noticed this at Disney but, then we never have done "pool only" days. When we swim it's always mid afternoon and fairly busy. At the resort we stayed at in Mrytle Beach last summer you had to sign towels out and return them when you left the pool area. There wasn't a lot of chair saving this way. You only got the number of towels of the people in your party. Maybe they could do that at VB.
