Can anyone recommend one that is decent but also at a decent price? Thank you!

I just bought a Dyson recently. It's not a decent price unless you can get it on a good sale (which Amazon was doing when I bought mine) but I like the Dyson.

It replaced my Hoover Wind Tunnel canister that I had for 15+ years. That was a good vacuum, but they either no longer make the bags for that particular one, or none of my stores carry them. That's one reason I went with the Dyson. Since it's bagless, I don't have to worry about 10-15 years from now not being able to find bags for it.

I just bought a Kenmore bagged upright - half the price of a Dyson (or many "decent" bagless) and much more powerful and convenient.

I have two hairy dogs and cannot tolerate having to empty a "bagless" canister every five minutes. With a bag, I change it when the little light indicates it's full (it hasn't yet in over a month) and don't have to worry about it again.

After years and years of trying to get a GOOD bagless vacuum, I realized that there really isn't any such thing.
