Vacation a day sweepstakes 2016???

Just starting a thread for those of us anxiously awaiting December 31st to see if Disney is going to be holding another sweepstakes to win a vacation a day during the month of January...hoping so!!

Maybe this will be my year to win!!?? Historically there are about 5-6 Disboarders who report winning...not bad odds for a 31 day contest.

That's why I'm here too - I'm hoping this will be our year. The way our finances look, I cannot see making a trip to the World anytime in the forseeable future unless I win one (and then I'm a little worried about paying the taxes if we do).

Good luck!! I don't think I'll be back to Disney for a few years either if we don't win a trip. For the taxes, that can be tough but you do have time to save up until taxes are due...so that helps some hopefully!

It has in the past. Actually the site is up earlier in the day but you can't enter until midnight. Then you can enter everyday in January. I think there are actually 32 prizes - a winner from each days' entries and then a grand prize winner is chosen from all entries(excluding daily winners) at the end of the month. The grand prize is the same as the daily prize though.

Well if there is a contest, and it's similar to the last few years, you usually have into early 2017 to take your trip. So you could use your tickets this year and use your prize trip in early 2017!!!

Sadly I haven't seen anything announced about a contest this year. Boo! That was such a fun contest.

I'll keep looking throughout the day but I would think that it would have been announced by now on the Disney Parks blog.
