USSSA tickets

Has anyone who is not a USSSA member used these tickets this year? I am from Canada and with the exchange rate this deal makes a huge difference to my budget. I was able to create an account and get to checkout without issue. All I had left to do what put in my credit card info... Will there be any issues once I try to get through the gates? TIA

I have used the USSSA Universal tickets for years after just setting up an account with the site. We just used them in August and plan to use more for our November trip. Don't think that you'll have a problem at all. We never have and have bought them for years.

I am in the same, from Canada, haven't been to Universal for 5 years, my girls are now coaster lovers and want to go back. With the exchange, it's killer. I can do the same, get right to the end to put my CC in so I am assuming they will be ok. I am hoping I can buy one set at a time. Anybody know if they can be upgraded to AP's? We are going to Orlando, Dec and again in March both for 2 week stays. So if they could be, that would be great. TIA

No, they are not upgradeable unless things have changed since we used them less than a year ago.

They could always start to ask for ID to prove you are eligible to utilize or do as WDW, wherein you have to provide affiliation at the time of purchase as to name/team, etc.

Their website has all the details as to whom is qualified to purchase/use the tix on it. Family members are coaches of a USSA sanctioned team. Last I looked the rules have been tweaked as to referencing actually participating in a WDW tournament vs being a member.

Have not utilized tickets since this change, not sure we would purchase that way. As in all things of this sort, YMMV as to whether you might be challenged using the tickets.

Just wandering if disneygirl55 or anyone else has used USSSA universal tickets in October or November 2016. Going in December looking for recent success with the tickets.

If you have the documentation to prove that you meet the requirements to purchase the tickets, you won't have an issue.

If you are not eligible to purchase the tickets and choose to attempt to purchase and/or use them anyway, you are on your own. The rules of the boards prohibit advising others to break rules.

Just used the USSSA tickets at US|IOA two weeks ago for my family of five adults without any issues. The only tickets which need team specifics are the WDW tickets.

True
No circumventing ways allowed

To ease any morality issues with acquiring tickets from the USSSA site, wouldn't the easiest thing be to take a membership.

I'm sure the organizations would appreciate the financial support in exchange for big savings on park tickets.

Not a question of morality IMO, other than this board's rules (see post #48), there is always the chance you may be asked for ID...such as convention tix etc. @ the gate.

YMMV but the site hasn't started to sell tix past the end of Dec for Universal yet anyway. They may go with same procedure for U as they do for WDW (team/player name) to eliminate any ambiguity as to who is permitted to purchase the tix.

From the website

Tickets are available for purchase by USSSA players and families participating in USSSA events
