If I have MMB and book Disneyland Paris hotel rooms. My understanding if they'll waive the 95$ fee right?
Does that apply to all reservations if I book 3 or 4 rooms for my family? Or only the room the member is in?
What about if the member doesn't come at all? I understand that the booking has to be done by the actual.member since they are the MMB owner as well. But do they have to actually be going on the vacation if they just wanted to send their family members?

Thanks

Sorry, I thought I might help, but then realized I really don’t know. I think you’ll need to call MS.

I will take a stab at this one. I would think that to use your DVC membership to book hotels in the Concierge Collection, you would need to check into one of the rooms. Whether you could book additional rooms for others traveling with you, I don’t know.

Please let us know what you find out!

Turns out it's a moot point. We are Canadian and MMB apparently only applies to deed holders who are US Residents.

There are nearby locations that are easy to trade into in Interval International it appears. They look fairly nice!

What are the rules for booking an Interval International room for someone who is not an owner? It's something to look into before proceeding.

What do you mean with "not an owner"? Do you mean not someone who bought direct?

If you're not an owner you cannot use someone else's points to book II 🤣

Anyway, Interval International is available for all owners, direct or resale.
There is a Marriot Resort near DLP, it's very good and 5 minutes by Uber (but not walkable). It's of course not considered onsite for privileges like early entry.
It is often available in the Getaway section of the II site during slower seasons ie it can be booked cash rather than with points. I booked one week in a 3BR grand villa for around $800 a few years ago. A steal.

In reality, they probably were only going to waive one fee of $95 anyway. You'd be paying $99 to save $95 - unless I'm missing something!

Really hope they open up the MMB to all owners.....

Sorry, what I mean is let's say i wanted to book an II room for my brother who is not part of my DVC membership or in any other way eligible for Interval International. I don't think Interval International allows it without purchasing guest passes.

So on another thread, it was implied to me that for 3 reservations, I would get charged 95$ / per room. They had suggested I look into MMB ( I hadn't even heard of it ).
As it turns out, you're right here in that it's a one time 95$ for all three rooms since I was booking them all at once. So it would indeed have been a net loss of 4$ had I gotten the MMB anyway. So in the end, it worked out better.
