Uppy, Uppy, Mr. Andy -- Update -- WRAP UP -- Post 1346, Page 90

It's not just you. I thought the same thing
If it weren't for Kathy agreeing I'd say is a 'Valley thing:lmao::lmao: BTW - Ghost Hunters at the Sun Inn Wednesday night on SyFy.

Kathy - Your MK pictures have me anxious to go back. I am going to miss the Snow White Ride. but I am sure I will love the Dwarve's mine when it opens.

So you were not thrilled with the new old Tiki room? I have never seen the original Tiki Room, though Joe did on his trip to the magic kingdom when he was ten, so we shall see how he reacts when we go. I did not care for the Yago theme---it was very loud and it was scary to Katie when she was 4.

No jungle cruise on the last day? Afraid you'd be lost in the jungle?:rotfl:

ON to Marco Island! (what's the deal with having to clean the fridge???):sad2:

I feel a little sad that this was your last day in disney. However, it means you will start your PTR soon and that will be very fun!!!

I also look forward to reading all about your time at Marco Island. :goodvibes

Thanks, Ann. I was a little sad too, but I knew what was coming up next, so it was okay.

what a wonderful last day at Disney you had!

I see the "hat" apple doesn't fall far from the tree :lmao:

love the photo of " reindeer" Mark and "Santa" Andy

ok ewww, you had to clean out the fridge at the condo, yuck :scared1: can't wait to see your photos of Marco!

Yes, Andy and Mark were very "playful" on our last day. ;) It was a great day though.

I'm going to miss Snow White too, but that mine train ride for the Dwarve's looks really cool.

Nope...not thrilled with the Tiki Room. We did the Jungle Cruise our first day and we couldn't fit everything in, so that was one thing we skipped.

I basically checked the fridge to see what was there that we could use (margarine, etc.). One of the sons of the owners (who are dear friends) was there a couple of weeks before us and left the milk. It was only a couple of days past due, but I wasn't taking any chances.

It's sad to be at the last day. Great updates! Looking forward to the new PTR!

You captured several pictures of Halloween decorations that I didn't notice at the MK.

Well, once again I am pictureless. Seems like I don't have time to DIS right now when I can see the pics.

But I think you are having a wonderful last morning in the world and I can't wait to pick out my favorite hat picture!

Some really great pictures in the past few updates. As usual love the hat pics, especially the Goofy hats and Andy's baseball one. And the picture in front of the Christmas shop is great and funny at the same time. :goodvibes

We love eating at the Plaza. Great place for a light lunch on a hot day. :thumbsup2

Nap in CoP? Who can possibly nap during "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow ....."? :rolleyes

Loved all your MK pics ! Your hubby and son looked like they were having such a great time. :)
I've never ridden COP .. but I'm thinking maybe I might try it (just once ;))

MK at Halloween is just amazing .. love the decorations and your fastpass pics came out great !

What a great way to wrap up your last visit to the Magic Kingdom. I was happy to read that you ran into Mary and the girls one last time. You had me in tears when you said that you and Andy were tearing up giving the balloon away in memory of your father. I think that's a great tradition but I'm sure it's hard to do.

Looking forward to reading about Marco.

I'm a dork... I'm sitting at work 'teary eyed' that this was your last day at Disney... :sad1: And I know you are going back soon - but I think it's a combo of Andy getting choked up with the balloon, and you crying, and Mark stepping in - then the pic you posted of Andy walking to the parking lot leaving MK....

But I'm anxious to read about your trip to Marco Island! Loved your last day at MK! (psst... I'm down to 9 days...) :goodvibes

Great photoshopped pictures. I can't believe you're already almost done with your TR and I'm stuck somewhere in the afternoon of Day 3. :lmao: Sounds like your last day was a lot of fun. Oh, to be there right now. In fact, you got an amazing amount of accomplished. Nice! And your story about your Dad the balloon never fails to choke me up a bit.

I've loved every moment of your TR and I'm really sad to see it end! Thank goodness I have your PTR (when you start it) to look forward to! You've really made me feel like I've been there. Its so touching about your balloon tradition. I can't wait to see what this Marco Island is like!

Wow, you really burned through this thing while I was gone! I've gone back and read through your updates, but there's way too much to comment on. I guess my only comment is that I need to make sure I never let Barry photoshop any of my pictures. :lmao::rotfl2:

Fastpasses in hand:

Day7033.jpg

I try to get a picture of the crowd in my fastpass pictures, but I like your style too.... :rolleyes1

We arrived at Big Thunder Mountain -- one of my favorite rides:

Day7088.jpg

I've never noticed this particular powder keg before. "Do not spill"!

Thats it I am going on vacation with you guys next time you always look like you are having the time of your life in the pictures! :goodvibes

I love the Dumbo pics, we missed that one this year :headache:

Ok this is going to sound like a silly question, but where is the Roy and Minnie bench now? I thought it used to be where the spot with the pumpkin picture area is now or was at halloween time...but I thought it was just gone :confused3

Love the photoshopped pics, esp the last one!

Yay on riding Dumbo and getting shots of the Fantasyland expansion! I love the shot of the two guys being funny outside the shop

That fudge looks very yummy. Aaw am happy to read that the girl who got the balloon in memory of your dad liked it

Ok, Kathy, I've been battling with the Disboards all afternoon! I tried posting three different times and it kept kicking me off.:headache:

Great flurry of updates! How touching about your dad's balloon too. Goodness, I'd have been choked up too if I were there! So sweet and what a lovely tribute. I'm sure that little girl sensed that she was part of something special that day.:goodvibes:goodvibes

Awesome parade pics! You captured some really great close-ups. I love that parade, it seems the most Magic Kingdom-ish.

We've yet to do the Tiki room but after your glowing review (NOT!) I'm reconsidering. Though you did put down Carousel of Progress so I'm not sure I can trust your judgement! My whole family loves that ride, we might even sing the song from it on occasion...:rolleyes1 Don't worry, I'm willing to overlook this flaw in you Kat!

Wow, your trip went fast here in your TR, must have been even faster in real life then, right? I can't believe you're done with this portion and will be moving on to Marco Island. You're very good at updating. Some folks could learn a thing or two from you...no names need metioning...they know who they are!;)

Looking forward to Marco Island and your PTR. I'm determined to make page one though if the only thing I do is beat Marv to it, then I'm ok with that.

Oh, and I received some Christmas mail today too. I showed it to my girls and they loved it. Yours will be arriving shortly, be on the lookout! Thanks Kathy.:goodvibes

We've done Halloween a couple of times now and I'm still amazed at what I've missed.

He's back AGAIN......:faint: :faint:

Miss you Jon!

I miss you too, Jon. :)

Well, once again I am pictureless. Seems like I don't have time to DIS right now when I can see the pics.

But I think you are having a wonderful last morning in the world and I can't wait to pick out my favorite hat picture!

MaryEllen, you always seem to check in at work and can't get the photos. ;)

I don't recall any hat pictures on Marco Island, so all hat pictures should be posted.

Loved all your MK pics ! Your hubby and son looked like they were having such a great time. :)
I've never ridden COP .. but I'm thinking maybe I might try it (just once ;))

MK at Halloween is just amazing .. love the decorations and your fastpass pics came out great !

The guys did have fun together...they have similar personalities. I usually do COP...when I need a nap. ;)

I love MK at Halloween.

Awwww....thanks Lisa. I did so well last year with the balloon, but the minute Andy started, I was lost.

Amy, I didn't mean to make you teary eyed at work.

And as I read your descriptionm of what I wrote, I started getting teary eyed all over again.

I can't believe you are down to 9 days (almost 8). :goodvibes

Tina, I'm only moving faster because I had to get my PTR started today being that we are at 50 days until our trip.

We had great fun the last day.

Finally caught up. My complaining about the DIS had somehow it is working better now. :lmao: I guess a bunch of people just gave up.

I've loved every moment of your TR and I'm really sad to see it end! Thank goodness I have your PTR (when you start it) to look forward to! You've really made me feel like I've been there. Its so touching about your balloon tradition. I can't wait to see what this Marco Island is like!

Thanks, hon...I appreciate it. The PTR is started, and I still ahve to do the Marco portion (although it will be shorter than the Disney).

Wow, you really burned through this thing while I was gone! I've gone back and read through your updates, but there's way too much to comment on. I guess my only comment is that I need to make sure I never let Barry photoshop any of my pictures. :lmao::rotfl2:

Do not let Barry near your pictures...he is evil. :lmao::lmao::lmao: Seriously, I am so grateful to him for getting rid of that nasty crane.

I try to get a picture of the crowd in my fastpass pictures, but I like your style too.... :rolleyes1

I've never noticed this particular powder keg before. "Do not spill"!

Hey, I wanted my darling DH to know that I thought he had a cute butt. ;)

I am bad at paying attention in line sometimes, but I really tried to get some pictures this year.

Thats it I am going on vacation with you guys next time you always look like you are having the time of your life in the pictures!

I love the Dumbo pics, we missed that one this year

Ok this is going to sound like a silly question, but where is the Roy and Minnie bench now? I thought it used to be where the spot with the pumpkin picture area is now or was at halloween time...but I thought it was just gone

Shannon, you are too sweet. I hope one day we'll be there at the same time as you and Tim.

You can't miss Dumbo...ever.

Roy and Minnie were over in front of the restroom area next to City Hall.

Thanks, Tanz. Andy really loved his fudge; wait until you hear what happened with that fudge later.

A trip is not a trip unless we ride Dumbo.

Ok, Kathy, I've been battling with the Disboards all afternoon! I tried posting three different times and it kept kicking me off.:headache:

Molly, the DIS has been like that for days. It really is annoying at times.

Great flurry of updates! How touching about your dad's balloon too. Goodness, I'd have been choked up too if I were there! So sweet and what a lovely tribute. I'm sure that little girl sensed that she was part of something special that day.:goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks, Molly. Andy is my emotional child, but I didn't think he'd starat to choke up after three years. I was wrong.

Awesome parade pics! You captured some really great close-ups. I love that parade, it seems the most Magic Kingdom-ish.

Andy did great on the parade shots...I was so happy with them.

Yep...not impressed with the Tikis; and I am so glad that you are willing to overlook my flaw of not like the COP (and that song :headache:). :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Wow, your trip went fast here in your TR, must have been even faster in real life then, right? I can't believe you're done with this portion and will be moving on to Marco Island. You're very good at updating. Some folks could learn a thing or two from you...no names need metioning...they know who they are!;)

Don't all Disney trips all go too fast? I wonder who you are talking about with updating???? ;) Although I think one of those may have updated today. :goodvibes

Looking forward to Marco Island and your PTR. I'm determined to make page one though if the only thing I do is beat Marv to it, then I'm ok with that.

I'll try to get to Marco tomorrow during the day. And you've already been to our PTR.

Oh, and I received some Christmas mail today too. I showed it to my girls and they loved it. Yours will be arriving shortly, be on the lookout! Thanks Kathy.:goodvibes

I will be watching the mail closely. xo
