Finally caught up. My complaining about the DIS had somehow it is working better now. I guess a bunch of people just gave up.

Pat, I have been cussing at athe DIS for at least two days...I got a whole update done last night, and it went out on me (and I should know better...I usually type it in word but wanted to get our last Disney day done).

While they were gone, I ran into Mary and the girls and Mary had just gotten off her first ride on Space Mountain!

Nice job Mary!!

It was then time to give a balloon to a young child in memory of my dad. I had wanted Andy to do it, but once we picked out the little girl, he got all choked up which got me crying, and Mark had to do it. She really liked her purple Mickey balloon.

I know I've said this before, Kathy, but I love, love, love this tradition. It's a credit to both you and your father.

Thanks, Jen. I'm so happy that he just let loose and had fun...he's talking about going back soon with his girlfriend.

I've still got Marco to go on this and Mary and I have started our PTR -- under 50 days now.

Thank you. It really was a great last day. And I've been giving the balloon away since my dad (not mom) passed away in 2008; my dad and I were very, very close.

Just wanted to let you know that I stumbled upon your trip report and LOVED IT!!!! You guys have so much fun with eachother!!!

Our next DisneyWorld trip isn't going to be until 2013 but I'm planning on trying to get us at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The pictures in your report made the resort look amazing! Are you a DVC member? I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between staying conciege level or not. Do you have any idea what the distinction is?

I've really enjoyed following your trip report. Your love for Disneyworld is contagious. It's funny, even though we've all been there, we still get so much enjoyment from seeing pictures of other peoples trips. It just brings back those feelings that we only get at Disney. No, I am not a DVC member. I work with a gal who is and she gave us a great deal on the AKL and we could not pass it up. My DH and I have never done concierge--it would be way too much food for us and too tempting to eat all the sweets we've been avoidoing.

AKL is beautiful and I can't wait to stay there again (which will be 2013 for our 30th wedding anniversary).

I do enjoy reading other TR's to see how we differ in experiences, etc.

If the DIS stops giving me problems, along with Photobucket, the Marco update will go up tonight. I can tell you that my "little sister" and I had a great time.

I have already made the chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter-hershey kisses cookies (they are in freezer). Today I am working on the sugar cookies and the Chocolate Spritz cookies (both my grandmother's receipes).

Friday, September 30

We woke up early...8:00 a.m. or so; while we were waiting for Andy to get ready, Mark was sitting on the balcony enjoying the view:

Then we were ready and heading off to Starbucks for my "first" coffee with Nicki; plus, Nicki hadn't met Andy yet and she was dying to meet him.

We all got hugs and kisses, even Andy. Nicki said I feel like I know you from all the wonderful things your mom and dad have told me (we told her we lied ).

Unfortunately, Nicki had to go to work so our visit was short, and we were off to the beach for the morning:

We left the beach and headed back to the condo where the boys went to the pool and I did laundry.

The boys returned and we had one tired boy on our hand who needed a rest before our dinner:

Friday, September 30 (continued)

We got ready for dinner and were headed to our favorite dinner place in Naples: Da Ru Ma. We normally save this for one of our last dinners, but we really knew Andy would enjoy it so we did it the only night he was here:

Dinner, as always, was a huge success -- everyone left full and happy.

I love your first day of Marco, it has me reliving your trip here and all the fun we had.....and yes, I am way to short for my own liking but I have a big personality to make up for it...but Todd says its a big attitude LOL!
