Hi All,

Is there a way to upgrade the 1 day/1 park incentive tickets into AP's or something. I know it's a small value but we would rather the AP's.

Regs,

I think you can apply the price of it towards the price of an AP. I could be wrong but I asked my guide if I could exchange my annual passes for premium ones and he said yes-that I would just pay the difference.

Upgrading is really easy...just go to any Guest Services location and tell them you want to upgrade to an AP w/DVC discount. They will ask to see your membership card for verification and you just pay the difference in price between the two tickets. We did this at the DTD location as they are open later than the park locations, plus there was no one in line. Oh, and did I mention the close proximity to Ghiradelli's? :thumbsup2

I think the rub here is the fact that these were incentive tickets, which I'm assuming were free? If that's the case, you may not be able to upgrade them. When upgrading, they typically subtract the original ticket's purchase price from the price of the new ticket. If the ticket was free, there'd be nothing to subtract.

You may find they're willing to give you the value of a 1 day ticket and upgrade it, but I'm thinking they may not.

I agree, if they are incentive tickets, you most likely will not be able to upgrade them. Hubby was a CM for 8 years and we got the 4 comp one day hopper tickets every year. We would have loved to use them to the value of larger tickets and AP, but was told they had no monetary value. As for the one day tickets you get with buying a package, as far as I know, they do have monetary value and many folks have used them to upgrade to larger tickets.
