Upgrade to Full Size (National)

Does anybody know if you can still walk out and select from the full size isle, if you upgrade at the website from Emerald Isle, without having to go to the desk at the terminal?

if you are Emerald Club, you can do Emerald Reserve for full size on the web and do just as you describe

Thanks lawgs. I am not quite sure how I do that. Do I get the quote for intermediate then upgrade to full size? Can I still use the Turner discount and code?

you will have to get the quote for the full size .....which will switch you to Emerald Reserve

you will still be able to use any contract id and $$$ off coupon ids ( however if you are using an "upgrade" coupon you will have to go to the "counter" )...it seems you are not using an upgrade coupon though, so would not worry about that....

just change the car class in EC to full size and it will ask you if you want Emerald Reserve if not mistaken


Emerald Reserve works just like Emerald Aisle, but this time you go to the Full Size aisle to pick out your auto then drive off to the check out booth

I have another Emerald Reserve/Emerald Counter question...
We have an ER(which I've never used before) ressie for our August trip, but are picking up our car at the MK Car Care Center, so the ER turns into an Emerald Counter rental. Does anbody know how ER works at this particular location? If we see a 'cooler' Emerald Aisle car that isn't technically 'our' ER car, can we pick that one out instead?

I don't think the MK CCC has an Emerald Aisle so you will be going to the aisle of the car size you reserved and you will probably have to go to the counter as well so basically you are getting a regular reservation without the Emerald Club benefits because they are available only at the airport.

Yeah, I guess I'm just reserving the Full-Size car(which was only about *$8* extra for our entire rental!). I think that there is technically an Emerald Counter at the MK/CCC so I might get to bypass any possible line, but that's about it.

Some might be wondering why I'm picking my car up at MK/CCC instead of getting it at the MCO location?
Well...I am getting a towncar from MCO to Port Orleans/Riverside on arrival morning, picking up our car at the MK/CCC the next afternoon, keeping the car for exactly 7 days (no nasty extra day/hour charges, no nasty Airport Concession Recovery Fees, plus by renting from the MK location I get a LOWER rental rate for the week).
And saving myself over $40 .
