Updating CC Online?

Hi all.

I received a letter from Member Accounting advising that the CC I use to pay my dues expired earlier this year and that I "can now securely and conveniently update your [my] credit card information online at dvcmember.com".

I spent 20 minutes or so online yesterday trying to figure out the proper link to do the update, before finally giving up and doing an online chat with a CM on the dvcmember site. The CM advised me that the website was not set up to do that type of update and that I would have to call Member Accounting.

Quite frankly, it would probably have taken less time for me to call Member Accounting and give them my new expiry date, than it has for me to type this post, but... if there actually is no place online to do the update, I would like to be able to let them know that their letter is incorrect in the hopes that they will change it and therefore prevent others from wasting their time looking for a non-existent link.

Has anyone successfully updated their credit card online and, if so, what did you click to get there???

Send an email to MS and let them know that DVC is screwed up.

So can I not pay my dues online with a credit card if I don't have a credit card on file with DVC? I can't just enter the information at the time I pay?

After looking at the dues paying FAQ, the pay link where you can enter credit card info only appears when there is a non-zero balance due.

So I figured I'd try again with a different CM to see whether there was something that I was missing on the website and/or whether the information from my first online chat was incorrect.

The CM I chatted with this morning was able to direct me to where I could update my credit card expiry date in about 6 seconds. Wish I could have had the correct answer the first time, but nobody's perfect (much as I would like them to be).

You can still pay your dues with a credit card online - you don't have to be keeping one on file.

1. Go to main page at dvcmember.com
2. Click on My Membership
3. Click on My Profile
4. Scroll Down
5. Under Membership information, click on View Contract Information
6. Click on Update Card Information
7. Make changes and save.
