I was denied by Chase for 3 Disney gift cards through Shop Disney on an offer that ended in January on 3 different cards. I called and emailed for review, and was told no both times. My son used a Chase card for the same deal and had no problem getting the credit,

I don't even know how they would know what you bought unless you told them. It just gets reported as a purchase. They literally can't see what you're buying. All they can see is a charge on the card by shopDisney.

Nope. You can only get the discount through MDE and only with a credit card.
If you want to use a DGC, you have to purchase through ShopDisney or on-site, and you will not get the resort stay discount.
Oh, and it shows up weird on cc statements so don't expect to get extra points if using a Disney Visa.

I was going to say that too. Idk how something purchased directly from Disney doesn't count as a Disney purchase, but it doesn't.

Interesting. I don't think that has ever been reported here.
What is common, Chase takes a while to post credits and those who do inquire from missing cb eventually get paid out.

Are you sure you're not confusing purchases made on an Amex, as they are known to claw back credits.

It was Chase Freedom, IHG, and Bonvoy CC's. $50 gift cards bought from shopdisney on 1-1-23 with the 15% offer that expired 1-12-23. Initial calls were made late Feb with a decline. I then sent an email and got the second decline. Was given a list of reason why it may not have been credited, but none were gift card related. I already spent a few hours on the phone creating tickets on each card and just decided it wasn't worth pursuing $22.50 anymore.

Did you use any cashback websites with these purchases?
Or maybe loaded your cc to a cb site and used their link to go through ShopDisney?
I believe this would create a third party scenario making the actual offer ineligible.
