I know it's likely been asked but I have a 20% cash back one purchase up to a max of $20 back at Walgreens on my Chase card. The only fine print is "Excludes third party services." Do gift cards count as "services" or would this pay out?

If you buy in a store you are fine. 3rd party is typically online for retailers

I had a $500 Disney gift card that was given to me
I purchased a couple Disney gift cards on shop disney over thanksgiving using various cash back websites
I combined the fund using on disneygiftcard.com Thursday of last week. $900 total

I also purchased 2 more gift cards on Shop Disney over Thanksgiving using various cash back sites. One for $300, and one for $50.
I combined those two into 1 card using disneygiftcard.com Thursday as well. $350 total

FRIDAY I called Costco travel to pay off my Disney Cruise. I gave BOTH gift card numbers and they BOTH will not go through. They asked me to call back Monday (today). I did and both are still not going through.

Here's the crazy part. Disney Cruise Line has confirmed that they SEE $900 on one and $350 on the other but when they try to process them it comes back as "not active".

I have called the number on the back of the Disney gift card and they see the funds and say both cards are active and ready to use! WTH!!!

DCL also tried processing one of the cards at a lesser amount. NO GO.

Sooooo..... my question is what do I do now? Is the hold up because I consolidated them down to 2 cards?

I know if I purchase DGC's from Shop Disney I may or may not receive cashback via Rakuten or RMN. But would using Disney GC's to pay for actual merchandise from Shop Disney via Rakuten or RMN prevent me from receiving cashback? I checked the first page and was not able to find an answer. Nope, no issues using DGC to buy merchandise. I've received cb when using them at both sites.

I never get any bonuses either and I have 3 chase cards it’s irritating

Surely not. I paid for my Disney Vacation this year entirely using DGCs. There were many (literally stacks and stacks of them) that I consolated onto 6 DGCs up to the max for each card. I purchased physical DGCs and eDGCs from many retailers (mostly SD, BJs, and Best Buy, but a few others as well) and combined them all without issue. I provided those 6 card numbers and security codes to my TA and she used them to make payments.

Where did your friend get the $500 DGC? Physical or egift?

I would call Disney again, explain that the GC are not going through and have them find out why. They might refer you to send an email.
Typically Disney requires proof of purchase so you might have to get a receipt from your friend on the $500 DGC.

Oh, if you tried repeatedly to add the DGC to your DLC account, it could have locked the DGC temporarily. That might be a 24-48hr. hold

It does matter. It's one of the top DP's we have.
DGC purchased from sites like Raise can impact when & where you use your gift card. It's been discussed here heavily.

UPDATE- I previously posted about my situation with a site mentioned on this thread. I had a gift card reversed by Disney along with other gift cards I added to my main card. Disney said there was credit card fraud associated with the gift card and took away all my funds. The third party vendor reissued the card and Disney allowed that one to be used. Disney took about 3 weeks but gave me back the remaining funds to the consolidated gift card. Luckily I kept all my used gift cards and receipts so I could verify where I bought them from because Disney required all of that information before they gave me back my money. One person I spoke with from Disney fraud division verified they were aware of other issues from this site. I thought the 15% was a reasonable savings and not a too good to be true and based on the success of others, I felt it was a safe choice. Even though I ended up with the savings, it was not worth the time and angst and I do not think I would use that site again, but that is a choice for each individual. I also always combine my eDGCs to physical ones. I don't mean ones from Raise though. I did (at one point) use them heavily, but kept those gift cards separate. But I do combine eDGCs from SD, Target, and Best Buy onto the same physical cards. I feel like there is less risk in that. I can prove where I purchased all of those.

Just saying, I imagine if you bought several DGC from Raise, you could consolidate those into one. Mark the DGC as Raise ONLY so there's no confusion.
