I know it’s been asked and often, but I cannot use a Target gc to pay for a Disney gc, correct?

The 10% off deal is great, but I have a cruise and AP renewal to pay for.

Am I remembering incorrectly or has something changed with Target. Ihave a $20 off $120 purchase coupon. It is not applying when I buy DGC. I thought these use to work with any “entertainment card “

It's been many, many years since Target had coupons that worked for that. They had one glitch a few years back where some people's coupon codes would work on 3rd party GC, but that's been a once in a blue moon event and it didn't work for everyone. Doesn't hurt to check for another glitch, but never count on using a general Target coupon for gift cards. Ever since they added the "speciality gift card" exclusion in the fine print, they've had a high success rate of excluding "entertainment cards" from coupons as they intended (like 99.999 success).

Are you sure about this? I thought you had to use your Target Red Card to make purchases to qualify for a Target Circle Bonus...

Just to add, I frequently use all Target GC to satisfy the circle offer requirements. I shop there enough that I pick up GCs at 10% off or better throughout the year and use those instead of my RedCard. 10-20% off beats 5%. Of course this only works out well if you normally shop there and have your Target budget money available in advance.

Even if they have exclusive coupons for RedCard holders you can use other forms of payment when redeeming it, from the best of my recollection. Obviously that could change so always read the fine print on a coupon, but so far I don't recall one that stipulated using the RC on the purchase.

When I checked our chase cards in October and again in November, I received $10 statement credit for qualifying in-app gas purchases of $20 or more.

I have that offer as well. I've had success getting 2% back on Dosh with past Office Depot/Chase offers where I bought DGCs.

Can you purchase a target E gift card and then go into the store and get a physical gift card with it?…. I’m not able to get to target today and I don’t want to give teachers a piece of paper or an email but I want to take advantage of the 10% off

I'm pretty sure you can't buy a different target GC with a target GC, but not 100%.

Another option is to do the EGC with scheduled send to the teacher's email addresses. I've done that, scheduled the email to go the last week of school before break, and then had the kids just bring a hand drawn card as a physical gift. My girls are young and absentminded, so I appreciate the peace of mind knowing that GCs actually made it to intended recipients and didn't fall out of the folder somehow.

If you're not in a hurry, you can order physical giftcards and just wait for them to be delivered in the mail. You won't be able to buy a target GC with another one.
