Yes I have loaded it to my MPerks account but I don't shop there often and wanted to make sure I used the right card.
Did you register it online so that they had your address and the billing zip code?

That was the only reason I can think of. I have been able to use prepaid cards myself at Sam's but it has been awhile. Good Luck
I used a prepaid visa gift card online last month ( I also bought those are Staples) I think I only bought the MC ones only once before. I have bought the visa ones multiple times and have used them online and in person. I registered one of the mastercard ones now. Thank you. I used the prepaid mastercard at sams club in person. But today I tried to use the card online and it didn’t work. It wasn’t at sams club it was another online store.
I see your comment here now. I’m wondering if there are other stores that do not take prepaid cards online as well. Maybe trial and error to find out.

This ^. It's been reported prepaid visa's are hard to liquidate, I would assume the same for Mastercard.
I tried using one at Raise.com and it didn't work there. It actually locked my account and I had to call it to be able to use it again. So, unless things have changed, they do not work there.
