I haven't seen the Target Circle Bonus mentioned recently, so I thought I would share. I had an offer - make 2 qualifying purchases of $50 or more, receive a $20 reward in Target Circle earnings. I did two separate orders online for shipping two days apart. 1) I spent $26.08, plus a $25 Disney e gift card 2) I spent $25 exactly, plus a $25 Disney e gift card. I received the $20 reward after my second order shipped. Both orders I paid using my redcard, so the total paid ended up being less than $50 on each order.

The way I look at it, I needed the items that I bought anyway, so throwing in two $25 Disney gift cards, I got $20 back (Disney math)

RMN has 10% cash back at shop Disney.
It is YMMV on gift cards but I did do it in March and April for $50 giftcards. Received my March cash back and waiting for my April award to post but it does say pending. So I’m trying again this month and using my Disneycard as I did receive the 10% targeted offer.

EDIT: Never mind, I don't see the deal any more.

If you get the offer again, GC Galore states it's good on gift cards but didn't list exclusions. @bbsearchlight pointed out, gc are typically excluded, Hip2Save posted the list of exclusions and gc were excluded. However, Disney rings up as "Entertainment" as do others, maybe that's why GC Galore states "Works on Gift Cards" unfortunately I have no DP to clarify.

Edit: Sorry folks, I must have used a site not allowed on the DIS but if you google you should find an article posted on May 31, 2021. Fireworks were tested in Epcot and Magic Kingdom, the MK was most recent.

I have a math question lol, trying to figure out which way to purchase Disney gift cards to get the most value. To make things easy, let's say I'm buying $1000 worth.

Option 1: Buy at Target for 5% off
Option 2: Buy at Giant Eagle (my grocery store) with Amex for 4x Amex points AND 5x Giant Eagle Perks. The GE perks are 50=$1. I think this is the way to go, but I've always done the Target deal before.

I do also have a 10% off Disney.com offer from Chase, until a $5 limit is reached lol. I have 2 Chase cards with the offer so I could get 2 $50 cards at Disney.com for $45 each, but that's it.

I placed an order at Sam’s earlier today for an order that was all gift cards (Disney and DoorDash) - the cash back just showed up in Rakuten! I know people have said they haven’t had luck with Rakuten lately - does the cash back show up and later disappear? Or never show up at all? It’s only 1.5% right now, but it was a pretty big order so I’ll be excited if the cash back sticks.

It’s still showing in my Online Cash Back, as are several other Sams GC-only transactions (most recently April 15). BUT, I did place a GC-only order on 5/10 where the cash back hasn’t tracked yet. Normally I’d submit a missing cash back form, but I don’t want to draw attention to my other cash back!

I need to buy about $300 in DGC to finish out my December trip, so I can wait, but part of me just wants to check it off the list as done. I was thinking about using my cash back card at Sam's through Rakuten. Did this cashback stick for you & payout? If so, are they e-giftcards or did you do curbside pickup? I am needing a few other actual items from Sam's, so I was trying to figure out my best bet to get a payout.

Knock on wood, all of my cash back has stuck around. The cash back from the May 10 order I mentioned never showed up, but I’ve had cash back post from Sam’s since then. Always all gift cards. Disney GCs are only available online (and I’ve gotten a combo of email GCs and physical GCs) - they aren’t available for store pickup with the higher cash back, unfortunately. Are you on Dosh? I’ve also had luck with cash back tracking there, even when I buy through the Rakuten link. That one is a bit hit or miss though.
