I'll be there!! I'm doing the full marathon and hubby is doing Goofy. He figures he can "race" the 1/2 and then "leisurely" jog the full at my pace. We both did the 1/2 in 2004 (I think?) and hubby did the full last year. This will be his fourth marathon and my second! Can't wait...I was soooo jealous last year.

Hi! My name is Amy and I will be running my first FULL marathon at WDW. Earlier this year I ran my first half marathon (Kansas City's Hospital Hill) in 02:04. I'm REALLY hoping to come in under 4 hrs, so we'll see if my training pays off I currently run about 35 miles/week, but plan on starting my 16 week training plan in September. DH and I are staying at Saratoga Springs, which is our home DVC resort.

My name is Robert and I am doing the Goofy again. I will be walking again(LY 3:05 & 6:32) and staying at Boardwalk. My wife will try again this year as she broke her toe 4 weeks before and couldn't run. I have done over 40 marathons and 40 ultramarathons before having both Achilles operated on 5 weeks apart in 2003. I have not been the same speed wise and the "Goofy" this year were my first 2 races since I tore my Achilles in a 50K in 2001. I walked the marathon in 96 @ 5:09.

I also am webmaster/owner of DisneyRunning website. If you have any reports/photos from any races at Disney(from 5K up) please email them to me so I can add them to the site. Look forward to all the new DL 1/2 and WDW races in Jan.

Hi everyone. My name is Tracey. My husband and I just registered for the half marathon at DW. This will be our first, and we are both beginning runners (though dh ran cross country in high school). I am hoping I can do this! I turn 40 exactly one week before the race and wanted to mark the occasion by doing something that would challenge me. Now to start training!

My DH and I are doing the same thing. He is running the 1/2 at his pace on Saturday and then running/walking the full with me. This will be his 3rd marathon and my first. I did the WDW 1/2 in 2005 & 2006.

Running the full! Don't know where I am staying, but prob BWV or BC..or maybe OKW..or...well we are DVC members, so where we can get with points!
For the BIG races I have done, see my siggie! I have also done lots of 1/2s, 10ks, 8ks, and 5ks. But those are not listed.

My DH (Matt) and BIL (Curt) will be running too! They are also Disney freaks!

Just updating our resort...DH and I will be staying at the Polynesian. As much as I loved staying at BWI last year, DH wants to avoid busses to the start and go monorail.

i will be doing my second disney marathon this year... and my second marathon at that. i did my first one last year... whoohoo! my best friend signed up to do it with me as well. she signed up last year but got hurt the week prior so i ended up running alone. we hope this year she won't get hurt and will actually be able to do the race with me!

My DH and I are doing our first WDW half marathon Jan 2007 (which will also be the first half marathon for both of us).

Our plan is to stay on the monorail (CR) Friday night and then switch over to POFQ afterward so we can stay as long as possible. At first our plan was to only stay through Monday, but now we're planning on staying through Thursday. (Still not long enough to justify an AP over a PH - darn!) My DD and DS will be there with us but are not old enough to run.
