I had Uterine Fibroid Embolization in 2007 for treatment of uterine fibroids...pm me if you have any questions or want to talk. Not all Dr's will offer this treatment, I feel because gyns can not perform it; it needs to be done by an interventional radiologist. thankfully, my gyn did tell me about it and referred me to someone at Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston. Just something to think about. Goodluck with your MRI and your appt on MOnday. Fibroids suck
