I had posted before that they kept changing my flight times for my trip in Nov and they were driving me nuts :confused3 .
1st my departing flight was 8:30am, which is about as early as my best friend can handle. Then they changed it to 7:40 am and she was not happy. She decided we should stay over the night before at the airport hotel. I didn't want to go through all that. My bf has a birthday dinner planned for me that night and I don't want to rush. Then they changed it to 7:00am. I didn't even bother to tell her.
Today I called, got a very nice person on the phone-Marnie. Who got us on the 8:40am flight at no extra charge even though the tickets were just a little but higher than what I originally paid (only like $15 each, but still).
So, New Englanders (or anyone else) having issues w/Song changing all over the place, there is hope!
:)

The right thing for the airline to do is change you at no cost at your request to flights more to your liking, once the cumulative discrepancy exceeded one hour which is upon the second schedule change in your example. Even if your original fare was T (Delta/Song lowest fare war fare) and the website shows the only availability as Y (highest and prevalent on peak travel dates).

Because some of the employees, particularly those in telephone headquarters located outside the U.S., may not understnad what you are talking about, feel free to call back in a few minutes, or ask for a supervisor durinf the same phone call, to make your flight change request.

Oh, I'm sorry, I don't think I explained myself very well. I was quite happy  with my service. I meant that even though the price went up MINE didn't. She did change them at no cost.

Good! You shouldn't have to pay any difference in that kind of situation. :)

Actually, different airlines have different policies, ranging from one hour to four hours. For most, the policy is two hours. Number of schedule changes isn't really relevant, since if you purchase your tickets at the 11 month point (when the first go on sale), you are guaranteed to be subject to three schedule changes (though not every flight changes during every schedule change).

It was very generous of Song to waive the fees and the upcharge. It shows that it pays to be persistent and polite with customer service folks. Good job, Athenna.

Song has changed my departure time on my last two trips. I just got my tickets for June 06 and don't like the times but I now know it doesn't really matter since it will probably change. My experience with them is that once they make a change to your original reservation they are really good about accomodating your requests for rescheduling for free regardless of original versus new ticket price.
