Update on ANDY AKA VERANDAMAN

Hi there everybody,
Just got off the phone with Hazel and she said everything went super good for Andy - the doctor got in there and really did some cleaning up so that Andy could have some relief from pain - She had just gotten him home with pain killers under his belt or whatever and she was going to the drugstore to get his prescription filled - He has some weeks of therapy and then he will finally have all of that behind him. They have really been struggling with Hazel's brother Dave passing a month ago, but
time will begin the healing.
Anyhow just wanted to give everyone a head up.

The "pig-headed, stubborn" (his words) Verandah Man booted up his computer and posted here:

He said he fell asleep before his computer shut off after he sent the message. He's feeling groggy and in some pain. He is very grateful for all the words of support. I read Shirley's post to him and he sends his thanks!

Andy, You need to take care of you for now. I can't believe you are posting already!! Glad to hear things went well. Get some rest and follow the doctor's orders (as well as your wife's orders too!!!). We are anxious to hear from you, but you need to take some time for yourself.

Hazel, good luck to you and lots of patience will be needed to get you and Andy through the recovery period! Please know that we are here for you also. It's a terrible thing when our "babies" aren't feeling up to par!! Keep your chin up, sister. You have got our sympathic ear.

I'll continue praying for the entire family!!! Glad things are looking up now!!!
