I was a huge Jackson five groupie in my youth.

DS10 is a huge fan of MJs work (knows really nothing about the man--just his singing and dancing) and I am sure will be very sad when i tell him in the morning. I am glad there are some in the younger generation who can love the talent and not associate it with any reports of the sad personality quirks which emerged over the years.

Micahel deserves to be remembered for his talent and inovation in the world of music.

Very sad. I always liked Michael Jackson and even though I wasn't a huge fan I believed the molestation nonsense was for $$$$ and it is too bad it ruined him.

I am devestated, what a loss. Granted he was an odd man but when you talk about TALENT and being an entertainer NO ONE can or ever hold a candle to Micheal Jackson.

When he was in his prime he was IT. His dance moves his videos and his music. I am very sad, besides Farrah which is also sad this is just a shock.

I can't stop crying I am 31 years old and I had the doll, I had the buttons and the first record it was a .45 (totally dating myself) was SAY SAY SAY which was Micheal Jackson and Paul Mccartney.

I realize now how fans of Elvis must have felt when he died.

I am one that can't say as I am sorry. He has done some terrible things that people shouldn't get away with and his persona allowed him to get away with it. He was a talented person and not so bad in the early years, but he sure grew up to be a bad person.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but Michael Jackson's death is overtaking Farrah Fawcett's death on the news, and I think both of them would have wanted it this way. I mean, Farrah was more of a private person who I believe may have wanted her death to be more of a private, family event, and Michael was into being the center of attention. I'm not saying that he wanted to die so young, though.
