UPDATE Michael Jackson rushed to the hospital (He Has Died)

I don't know how to process this. I feel like he died a long time ago and some alien possessed him. I just adored him in the Jackson 5 days and up through Thriller. But then he just got so strange.

I saw him together with the Jackson 5 on September 10, 2001 and had a great time. I am glad I got the chance to see him perform live on

When I first read this online there was a mention of an overdose of pills. I can't see why he would do that if he had this big comeback tour planned. We will see in the next few weeks what really happened. I do feel bad for his kids, wonder if Debbie will get them back or if they will stay with his family.

I'm betting on dead and that the major outlets are gathering their obits and b-roll why the family is being notified.

The major outlets also follow embargos when asked. Again, I don't think TMZ does.

I agree that they were probably trying to keep the news under wraps until his family could all be notified....

I just spoke to my brother who lives in England and he said people are gathering in the streets sobbing over Michael's death. It's 11:30 pm there. He said Michael was very much loved in England.

I wonder if they are waiting for all of his family to arrive at the hospital before making an official announcement that he has died.

I remember (I am sure most of you do too) when Natasha Richardson was in the hospital and the same thing was happenning. Some were reporting she had died and some that she was in a coma.

Not too long after her family arrived (mom, sister), they announced that she had passed.

Very sad. I always liked Michael Jackson and even though I wasn't a huge fan I believed the molestation nonsense was for $$$$ and it is too bad it ruined him.

I hope he is at peace now which is something he was never able to find on Earth.
