Up grading at RPH

I have a Loews first membership. I think it is still the basic one, but it has been used for 2 nights at RPH last year.

It says on the mewmbership that I canhave an upgrade if there is one available, does this mean I should ask on check in?

Yes, ask when you check in if there is an upgrade available.

I am Loews Gold and we just returned from two nights at Portofino Bay this afternoon. When I checked in, I asked about upgrades. Unfortunately, the hotel was sold out, so there were none available, but you should always inquire at check in.

I am also just blue leows, so I am not expecting any upgrades to be available when we visit RPR in June. My question is, what can I even upgrade to at RPR anyway if I could? I booked a club room. I think the upgrade would be to a King suite maybe? But we have 5 ppl so that is not available to us. I have only stayed at HRH and have always gotten a deluxe room, which I dont think even exists at RPR. So is the next one up a hospitality suite? Anyone know what that is and if it is available for upgrade if you are gold or platinum? This visit is for 8 nights so next time I think I would be gold, if I'm understanding this right.

At RPR LoewsFirst Blue can only upgrade to a premium room at check-in. So basically if you were to book a standard room you could upgrade to a pool view room and thats it. Since you have a club room you will receive no upgrade. King suites are the upgrade for Gold and Platinum. There are Hospitality suites but they won't even give those to Platinum members unless you pull some strings with management beforehand. After this stay you would be Gold.

We have 4 people booked in a King suite in May. You can only have 3 people in a king club.
