UOAP question

So I purchased annual passes for family again last night. I made a mistake and bought the premier instead of the preferred. I called to change it this AM and the guy said I can not downgrade. I bought on the flex pay and he told me once the contract is signed nothing can be changed. However when I asked told him I had upgraded in the past he agreed that is possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is almost double the cost.

No experience, but I wonder if you could downgrade if you were willing to pay the whole cost at once, so it's no longer flex pay?

I offered that and they said only in person. Bummed but dealing with it. We have been so many times im thinking I will just use the after 4 express pass and stay at cheaper hotels.
