I have come across several unused 1986 3-Day World Passport tickets. I can't imagine that they are collectible, but figured i would check with the experts first. Thanks for any help.

Something's always collectible to someone. :) Do you have a scan of them you can post so everyone can see what they look like?

If they are unused, I wonder if they're usable for admission. Any WDW CMs know the answer to that one?

I'm not a CM, but WDW admission tickets never expire. You MAY be limited to the MK and Epcot, since those were the only parks open in 1986. I'd use them as is, and THEN put them in your scrap book.

Tickets are grandfathered in so they would be usable for all parks. What would likely need to happen is you would have to present your "OLD" passports to the Guest Relations window and exchange it for a new ticket that would be "readable" by the new turnstile equipment.

As for expiration ... There are tickets that DO expire. If you have an expiration date on your then it tells you when it expires. If no date ... then no expiration.

So in summary the bad news is you have to turn in your old tickets, but good news is no addtional cost to exchange for the now higher admission rates AND all park are included.

As to the value ... where there's a buyer there's a value. For now, you are the buyer and they are worth admission to Disney parks or at the very least, what you paid for them:)

Thank to everyone for their response. Just to make everyone a bit "nostalgic", the prices on the tickets, and thus the cost to me, was $57 for the adult passes and $47 for the children's. That was for three days, but at the time only for MK and EPCOT as stated previously. Do you think if I pull out a paystub from then my salary has also almost tripled in that time?!?!?

I had some older tickets last year that I had forgotten about. They were only good for 3 parks not AK. They were the 25th Anniversary tickets with the characters (TINKER BELL) on it. I asked if I could have them for souveniers after they were converted to usable passes and the CM was happy to oblige. :D

It is really funny that I am reading this thread tonight, as couple of days ago, after going through some very old photos, I found a "Magic Kingdom Club 5 Day Super Duper Pass" (Gotta love the "Super Duper" part!!!) from 1993, my DD's first visit to the World, with grandma and me. I looked at the ticket to see if everything was used and it was, except the waterparks as it was in March and much too cold...Big storms up north while we were in WDW and frezzing in FLA, I remember a tornado in Ocala and 33 degrees one morning in Orlando....Epcot was cold, windy and empty.
I guess the ticket is worthless now, but it's priceless for my scrapbook. (Sounds like a commercial)
Thanks for making me read the pass again, hoping I could use it.
