Hi Megan!

I see your green light!!

How cool that your Mom is going to come and help out!!!! :cool1: Sounds like she is making a good effort to work on things with you! :lovestruc

Let me know as soon as possible what your plans are for Monday. Then I will decide how to go home. I keep going back and forth on what to do. :confused

BTW- I'm sure glad you didn't start a grease fire or something with your pork chops!:sad2:

Hi Melody!!! I know, I am so thrilled that she is helping! I am thinking that I will fly home around 11am or so. Which means I probably need to leave the hotel around 8 am I am thinking? I will most likely fly out of Long Beach, because to fly out of Orange County is about $100. more!

I am too... :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I invented a new recipe today. Ran out of salsa so I mixed sour cream, taco seasoning mix & shredded cheese together. Not too bad. DH said he thought it could use some taco sauce to spice it up a notch. But I noticed that everyone devoured the bowl of it, so it must not have been too bad.

I love Taco seasoning... I have a Costco sized container of it. We like taco potatoes. :thumbsup2 Tasty!

:lmao: :lmao: Hi Alison!!

Hi Megan & Melody. Just decided to come in the house and be lazy for the rest of the afternoon. I did lots of work outside last night, stayed up late, got up early so I'm sure it will all catch up with me soon. It's so nice outside I wanted to go outside and gather up sticks that fell in the woods this winter to burn. Yeah, I know I'm obsessive compulsive..I clean up the floor in the woods every spring!:lmao: But DH told me no, I was going to wear myself out. So here I am on the pewter and steeping a cup of chai tea to drink. Does life get any better?

Now what the heck are you all doing on at this time of day??? :confused3 :rotfl:

Only if your eating a pork chop at the same time. :lmao: Ohhhh my goodness. Dh went to Walmart this morning to get some diapers, and they were selling GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! We are addicted to the Carmel Delights. YUM. I think when I was younger, they were called something else. but jeez, they are tasty. Expensive too. I would NEVER spend $4. on 1 freaking box of cookies any other time.

Okay.. the time has come to start Maternity clothes shopping. :cool1: I am SOO glad that they now have Plus sized Maternity stuff!! Its pretty cute to, check it out.

Those are really cute. I think I would jump all over those $9.99 ones. I hate to spend a lot of money on something that you don't really wear all that long. I lucked out when I was pregnant with DD those MC Hammer pants were all the rage and I bought numerous colors for $5 at Target. I never did get really big with her, so just bought 1 nice maternity dress and a couple of shirts/sweaters. DS was born 6-1/2 weeks early so I hardly needed maternity clothes.

We had brunch out the ILs today. Had a nice visit, and the boys weren't too wild. That is, until DS3 decided to play with the full bodhum coffee pot. Push the handle, pull it up, push it down.

Me: "DS3, don't play with that, it's not a toy."
DS3 pushes/pulls faster!
Me: "DS3, no!"

He gives it another fast push, it tilts sideways, and falls off the dining table and onto their nearly-white carpet, and hot (hot, damn!) coffee sprays outward and runs in a big puddle underneath. :scared1:

Fortunately HE was not hurt, and he beat feet outta there! I rushed over and grabbed some nearby napkins, righted the coffee pot and started dabbing. MIL has bad hips and tried to waddle over to help. Her DSis grabbed the roll of paper towels and threw it over.

There is this huge stain (maybe a foot in diameter?) on the carpet, and lots of spots all around it. I soaked up as much as I could with the towels, and they have one of those carpet cleaner things, and FIL is going to clean it later today. I felt sooo terrible! :(

Don't get me started on the Girl Scout Cookie Nazi story again! It's ok Alison, deep breaths, exhale, imagine someplace warm & tropical where the GS Cookie Nazi Lady is not allowed! OK, all better now!:rotfl:

Yeah, i would too, but most of those are long sleeved! I would DIE!! I get BIG. I am big, but I get HUGE when pg. I went from a medium to an XL when I was pregnant with Alex, and by the time he was born, those didnt even fit!:lmao: I still have some of the cloths from when I was pg with Mikalah, but it is all heavy stuff... Jeans and long sleeve shirt and whatnot. So that wont work either. But at least I have the jeans... S that I dont have to worry about. I need capri pants, and shorts. and lots of short sleeved tops.

Oh wow, bet that was scary! I'm so glad he wasn't hurt. I have off white carpet also. If the carpet cleaner doesn't get it out tell them to pour a cup or two of oxy clean mixed with hot water on it. Then lay a towel over it, put something heavy on it like laundry detergent bottles. The next morning the stain will be soaked up into the towel. Even old stains and koolaid stains will come out this way.:thumbsup2

:headache: OMG Alex. I really dont think that is going to come out with one of those carpet cleaners.

Too bad I got rid of all my stuff, I had a lot of that. I was so hot all the time that I had lots of short sleeve/sleeveless tops, and a few sweaters. :)

I should try the Oxy Clean... We have some stains that didn't come out the last time we steam cleaned.

I felt sooo bad! I'm hoping because it's a fresh stain that it will, but if it doesn't maybe we can pay for a professional cleaning. I have no idea what that costs, but when we were selling our old house, the professionals got out stains I didn't think would ever come out! We were going to give a carpet allowance, but after seeing the carpet, the realtor said don't bother, it looks great!

yeah, my mom had a bunch of stains that wouldnt come out no matter WHAT, and they had the professionals come in, and it looked like a brand new carpet! If you look around, you can find coupons for CHEAP.

I just checked out the maternity clothes link. (For some reason it got hung up the first time I clicked, then the 2nd time just took forever to load the page.) Cute!

Makes me miss being pregnant. I loved being pregnant with DS7, and had a very easy pregnancy. The 2nd pregnancy was hard, physically difficult and painful, and we had a few scares, so I don't miss that one. But the first one just seemed so magical, so "dream come true" (which is was, after 4.5 years of trying!) Everything about it was great, there's nothing like growing a little person!

I didn't really like being pregnant. I'm kind of a control freak, and for me it was something that I had no control over. My first one wasn't bad, but the 2nd one was downright horrible. I know for a fact that if my first one had been that bad I would never in a million years went for a second one.
