Oh, and all of our clocks do it automatically... Except our wall clock, but it should still be good since I didnt change it for the last time change. :lmao:
Shawna said she is so excited for the time change so we'd all be on the same time again. :rotfl:

Okay, how is she not getting in trouble at work for this? Any of the places I worked at, it would be harassment.
I was wondering the same thing. Either it's a small office (bigger corporations with HR depts. tend to be more politically correct), or perhaps it's just because the victim (?) hasn't complained.

DH used to play a couple of good-natured pranks at the office on his/(my former) boss. The boss had a good sense of humor, so it wasn't a problem. He pranked a couple of other folks as well, tending to pick people who he thought would get a kick out of it. Another guy complained to me once, "Oh, man, I NEVER have anything cool like this happen to me!" :rotfl:

I was telling dh about it, and I told him he should do it at work... how, I dont know... and I REALLY hope no one there would eat them. :scared:

My bf and I were driving on the freeway and were planning to watch a movie. My bf was driving and I was using my phone to check movie times online. Well all of a sudden he says: "OH S*!!" and I feel a *kadunk kadunk* and look up all shocked. I didn't see what happend but I saw a black plastic piece and what looks like a dog through the corner of my eye.

My bf said there was a car in front of him about 2 or 3 seconds afterwards, a coyote jumped over the center divider wall and ran smack into the front of my bf's car! :scared1: :scared1:

I'm not sure where it came from or how it could have survived crossing the lanes on the opposite side of the freeway. I guess the coyote must have been slightly shorter than the height of the center divider wall because my bf didn't see it until it jumped over it. I have never seen a coyote on the freeway before and especially not in broad daylight, which is odd. My bf said there was not enough time to jerk the steering wheel or swerve or do anything because it was less than 2 seconds away from his front bumper.

We exited the freeway and pulled into a gas station to check for damage. There is a plastic cover that is located over the tire area. Well it got messed up and my bf removed it. It's just a plastic cover but we were both grossed out because it had coyote fur on it! :scared1: The left side of his bumper has a small crack at the bottom and part of it popped out, but the damage was less than what we expected. He said he can always buy another bumper from someone on the Honda boards or something (cheaper than buying it from the dealer). He was really calm about the whole thing but I was just shocked. :faint:

That is scary, especially on the freeway! :scared1:

A friend of mine was very young (16, fairly new driver) and her family was on vacation. Her dad let her drive the vehicle for practice, and all of a sudden on the freeway, the vehicle in front of them threw a tire! the wheel bounced into their front end, which made the hood pop up, so they couldn't see at all. My friend somehow managed to move safely from the far left lane all the way over to the right shoulder, and THEN freak out. :worship: :rotfl2:

Looks like I missed pixster while I was watching 48 Hours. :(

Ah well, time for me to get to bed now anyway. Good night! :cloud9:

HAPPY DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME HYENAS!!

Just thought I would get up early to celebrate the time change and for once I beat Shawna on here. :) :) :) One of my secret hobbies is time travel, so for me this is a wonderful day. One minute it's 2am and the next second it's 3am. It all happens so fast I hardly even notice it. Not at all uncomfortable traveling from one dimension to another. Harry Potter should try this because it's much easier than flue powder.:rotfl2:

Actually Bruce's cousin and her family were here. They are on their way back to Texas from her brother's funeral and spent the night. Their flight leaves at 6am, so we had to get up at 3am. Bruce took them to the airport and I tried to go back to sleep, but Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum (aka Max & Pepper the new kittens) had other ideas and as I was settling back into bed I was ambushed by them and next thing you know I'm laughing and wide awake. Little kitties are such fun!:thumbsup2

Wow, Pix! That was some scare you had. I hate it when animals of any kind run out in front of you. Last winter when I was near the end of chemo, not feeling well and very emotional a squirrel ran out in front of me on the freeway and I squished it. I cried the entire way to work because it reminded me of how life could be there one minute and then gone the next. Every day when I drive over that spot I am reminded of the little squirrel. Note to self: find a new route to work!:lmao:

The worst thing we ever had happen on a Calif. freeway was a mattress come off the truck in front of us. It slid right down the side of my Mom's car and then we looked in the mirror and seen the pileup behind us. My mom was so freaked out.:scared1: But not even a scratch on our car. The guy that lost the mattress slowed down, seen what happened and then sped off.

:\

my spring break doesnt look pretty at all. :(

Oh Albort, Albort, Albort! I'll be spending my spring break in excruciating pain for 3-7 days in the hospital. Surely you will have a better time than I will!:lmao:

Hello ladies!! We have had a super exciting day. Well, not really... But we did all learn how to make paper airplanes, and colored them and whatnot... Oddly enough, that took almost all morning.

But those are the best times and the ones your kids will remember forever. :thumbsup2

Soooo... Mikalah fell in her toy box today. THAT was funny. She was trying to sit in it, but didnt take into consideration that she had taken all her toys out already. :rolleyes1 Her butt just sank to the bottom. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hope you got a picture of that. One of my favorite photos of the kids is when they dumped out the toy box one morning. Their hair was all messy, Coop was about 2 and Chels was about 8. They were sitting in the box smiling away, so I grabbed the camera and got a perfect shot of them.

my kids were clamoring around 5 or so... Then I got all creative and started making dinner. Then I realized that I was REALLY hungry, and there was no way I was waiting til everything was done to eat.. So We had grilled cream cheese sandwiches. 10,000 calories... but SOOOO tasty!

I've never had grilled cream cheese sandwiches. I bet my kids would love that.:thumbsup2

It was a dry husk with stringy meat. :rolleyes 1

The aliens abducted me and looked at my pooter.

Just where is that Tag Fairy? I think he/she is scared to visit our thread!

So I put my spatula on the top of the sandwich and flipped the PAN over. The sandwich fell out of the pan and slipped off the spatula onto the burner, and the melted cheese started dribbling out onto the burner. :headache:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We can't leave cabinets open, it's taken as an invitation for Poly to go inside .

We put the boys TP into their bathroom cabinet, to keep it away from her. She destroys any roll on the roller.

well, a few days later I hear weird scuffling sounds in their bathroom-- I'm freaking out thinking it's a mouse or something. :scared:

Carefully open the door-- MEOW?

What the ?????

She opned the cabinet , climbed inside -- letting the door shut behind her.. and was happily shredding the entire roll.

ARGH! Good thing she's cute!

Which reminds me of something I did this week. The kids bathrom was out of TP, so I brought a package down there. Put 3 rolls into a wicker fishing basket that hangs on the wall (our "secret" extra TP holder). Turned around and went to put the 4th roll onto the TP roller, bumped it and it fell into the toilet. Did you know that a roll of TP can soak up an entire bowl full of water?:lmao:

Im really looking forward to Easter this year. I cant wait to make a big ole dinner, and get the kids baskets. You should have seen the look on Alex's face today. He asked me about the Easter bunny and I told him it was kinda like Santa. He got all excited, like he was going to get a gang load of presents. NOT!!! I had to tell him that Easter Bunny only brings baskets, not a bunch of toys!:lmao: :lmao:

We have never really done a big Easter before, so this will be fun!

Oh, but the Easter Bunny can bring special big presents, why not?? One year he brought DD a bicycle. He hid eggs in the backyard and when she went around the corner following the eggs he left her a brand new bike with a giant blow up Easter bunny sitting on it!:thumbsup2

Actually we don't get a lot of candy for the baskets, we tend to get other things. The kids normally get a new pair of shorts and shirt, sunglasses, flip flops, squirt guns, etc.... thing they will need for the upcoming warmer weather. Then I fill the basket with that stuff and put a bit of candy around.

Are u doing an egg hunt?

You guys should try my Easter Eve flashlight egg hunt. It's lots of fun for the little & big kids and we do it the night before Easter. Weather permitting we hide plastic eggs all over the place, in the woods, etc... Then give everyone a flashlight and make them go hunt for the eggs at night. We have 1 GOLDEN EGG that contains $10 or $20, depending on how generous the EB is feeling that year.

Okay, Im back... I had to feed my gigantic beast. :lmao:

Since it's now only 5am I had to re-read this. I thought you said you had to feed my gigantic breast!:scared1: :rotfl2: My first thought was , WHAT!!:sad2:

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on much. I'm finding it crappy to be on such a time difference to the rest of you's, I was finding myself popping on to say hi and then my hi slowly vanishes hours later without anybody noticing me :sad1: But I'm saying hello again, and I will try to catch you all when you're online latah.
My bf and I were driving on the freeway and were planning to watch a movie. My bf was driving and I was using my phone to check movie times online. Pixter, I hope you're not still shaken up and I'm super glad you guys are okay. That's pretty freaky. Dh was driving on a freeway in Spain a few years ago, where everyone drives super super fast, and if you slow down you get smucked. Well he said he saw a cat running across the freeway on the other side, and the cat was just booting it and made it through the first set of super speeding cars but then his timing was off and dh smoked him. He said he was so crushed (pardon the pun) at having killed a kitty but there was nothing he could do, he said there were dead animals everywhere on that road, there is just no chance to slow down or swerve because you'll get run into. It must be pretty scary for the animals that need to get across.

I remember another time driving through the mountains dh and I went under a bridge and as we came out I looked to the right and saw a mommy duck and her babies waiting patiently to cross the road. I hope they made it safely.

Guess I should have stayed on here longer. Sorry I missed you Christina. So how are things on your side of the world?

We stayed up late last night visiting with DH's cousin & family. Had our first bbq of the season. We did skewers of chicken & steak and then skewers of onion, green pepper, zucchini, pineapple (sorry Shawna), mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes. It was yummy!!

Got both the front & back decks cleaned off yesterday, cleaned out the flower beds, hung up the flowering baskets (we'll see if they come back to life)! I just have ivy, creeping charlie & roses on the back porch. They always winter over well and come back to life the next spring. I've had some of them for abut 20 years.

Today I'm cleaning up our mess from last night. My SIL even came over to visit and was quite civil and gave me a hug when she left. I guess she's decided we are going to have year or two of niceness. Then she will eventually go off the deep end and start causing problems. Oh well, I've been putting up with her for 25 years, whats another 50 more?:rotfl:

Harry Potter can travel through time with Hermione. Professor McGonagle gave her a time-turner necklace (the one they used to save Sirius Black). Yes, I'm a Harry Potter fanatic! :teeth: :rotfl:

Yes, it was definitely scary. I was looking at my phone the entire time checking the movie times and then I was putting my phone away, I felt the car hit something and freaked. :scared1: It was definitely scary. I'm just glad that the damage wasn't worse and that we weren't hurt. :)

A mattress came at you on the fwy?? Eeek, that's really scary!! Good thing it didn't hit your mom's car! :faint: One time I was on the freeway and some truck had these giant rolls of pink fiber glass insulation. It wasn't tied down or anything and next thing you know, all the rolls start to fall out of his truck and roll towards my car and another car to my right. We both swerved to avoid it and then I sped up real fast to avoid another one. :sad2:

Hey Christina! We miss you around here! Thank you, I'm okay. It was just a bit freaky but I'm just glad that we were both okay. :goodvibes

I ran over a poor rabbit once. It was on the sidewalk and just jumped down off the sidewalk and straight in front of my right tire. It was really disturbing but I couldn't swerve or anything. :sad2:

Since it's now only 5am I had to re-read this. I thought you said you had to feed my gigantic breast!:scared1: :rotfl2: My first thought was , WHAT!!:sad2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: OMG. That is too funny!! not only do I have one, but I have 2 gigantic breasts... Thankfully I dont have to feed them though, good thing, I dont know if I could handle the grocery bill!:rotfl2:

Hey pix, Im glad you are okay! I remember hitting my first possum. I was driving my moms brand new Tahoe on the way home from work... smush. I think I was 17. I was BAWLING and I ran in the house and back to my parents room and woke up my dad and told him what happened. He asked if the car was okay, and went back to sleep. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Do you think I get my cold heartedness from him? :scratchin :lmao:

So here is my kitchen story of the day... I was starting dinner, and I had turned on the frying pan for my pork chops so it would be nice and hot when I went to throw them in... Well, I started my bread, and got it all ready to put in the breadmaker, and started it. Then I trow in my pork chops. OMG. The pan was so hot, I had to stand across the kitchen and ACTUALLY throw them in. My kids thought it was freaking hilarious! Almost like a game, you know!:lmao: :lmao: I COULD have turned it down, but how much fun would that have been? Plus I had to pee, so I wasnt thinking clearly. :rolleyes1

Oh, and you should totally try the grilled cream cheese. Its top notch!

Hi Megan!

I see your green light!!

How cool that your Mom is going to come and help out!!!! :cool1: Sounds like she is making a good effort to work on things with you! :lovestruc

Let me know as soon as possible what your plans are for Monday. Then I will decide how to go home. I keep going back and forth on what to do. :confused
3

BTW- I'm sure glad you didn't start a grease fire or something with your pork chops!:sad2:

Note to self: wear protective helmet if dining at Megan's house otherwise liable to get hit in head by Flying Pork Chop!:rotfl2:
