Oh my goodness Alex! You make me laugh!:lmao: :lmao: I use my griddle for my sandwiches. Lots of surface area there!:rotfl2:

Today I went to spoon some brown sugar onto my farina.. well I left he drawer open after I grabbed the spoon. Talking to hubby while spooning it on-- multitasking is always prime for diasaters-- PLOP a big blob falls intot he silverware. :headache: Hubby then started laughing at me...  .. while I closed the drawer, pretending it didn't happen. :rolleyes1

Only to wipe it out later.

:lmao: :lmao: I do that ALL the time! In fact, I tend to leave all my cupboards and drawers open all the time, so there is always stuff being flung into various areas. Also a lot of heads being cracked... But its mainly mine, so who can I blame on that one!:lmao: :lmao:

We can't leave cabinets open, it's taken as an invitation for Poly to go inside .

We put the boys TP into their bathroom cabinet, to keep it away from her. She destroys any roll on the roller.

well, a few days later I hear weird scuffling sounds in their bathroom-- I'm freaking out thinking it's a mouse or something. :scared:

Carefully open the door-- MEOW?

What the ?????

She opned the cabinet , climbed inside -- letting the door shut behind her.. and was happily shredding the entire roll.

ARGH! Good thing she's cute!

We bought a GPS on Friday :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

It's been getting a workout with all of our wrong turns... we LOVE IT!!

Re-routes the trip in SECONDS. :goodvibes

We used it to go exploring in Riverside and to Oceanside to pick up my DN (with a short run to Carlsbad because he left his bag in a friend's car. )

I set to go to the local mall-- my DN took the car and I didn't have to go with to navigate for him.

Im really looking forward to Easter this year. I cant wait to make a big ole dinner, and get the kids baskets. You should have seen the look on Alex's face today. He asked me about the Easter bunny and I told him it was kinda like Santa. He got all excited, like he was going to get a gang load of presents. NOT!!! I had to tell him that Easter Bunny only brings baskets, not a bunch of toys!:lmao: :lmao:

We have never really done a big Easter before, so this will be fun!

We really debated buying one or not now that we are moving back. We know the layout of Mpls and the suburbs fairly well.. occasionally we take a wrong turn if downtown (or in St Paul, across the river from Mpls-- considered part of the "Twin Cities").

But we plan to do a few things before we move and it will come in handy if hubby does subbing.

My sis does an egg hunt, indoors since it's usually cold and snowy.

She puts candy and treats in the plastic eggs and hides them around the house. Up high for the older ones, easy to find for the youngsters.

She has them color coded for one of her DS-- he can't have chocolate so she gets gluten/ casein free candy and little toys for his eggs.

One of my past co-workers would hide hard boiled/decorated eggs for her grandkids.. only to find a spare one MONTHS later-- ewwwwwwwwwwwww.

Are u doing an egg hunt?
Yep!

We do ours indoor, it tends to be icky here n Easter. Although I do remember one year it being nice and warm and sunny.

Yeah, thats gross. We decorate the eggs, and COUNT them. Then we COUNT them again when we find them. :lmao:

The first year I did baskets, but when DS7 was 2yo I hid plastic eggs in the backyard. I filled them with goldfish crackers, teddy grahams and other little toddler snacks. :rotfl:

Then DH walked him around the backyard trying to lead him to find the eggs. It was so hilarious, and so adorably sweet when he'd find an egg. He was soooo excited!!! :lmao:

omg... that peeps thread has me DIEING!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I cant believe she is EATING them!

Yeah, we do it indoors unless it's not raining (and the ground isn't wet), then we'll put some outdoors. We've gotten pretty creative with the hiding places. :teeth:

hey, Alex... u didn't laugh over my alien abduction.. geesh what does it take to get a laugh out of alex these days :snooty:

We always had Easter at my moms house... They had a huge, empty back yard. There was no place to hide anything! I am looking forward to coloring eggs this year.. We had to much fun decorating cookies, I know it will be a blast coloring eggs. :cool1:
