They really are all different. My first was different from the second, and they were both boys.

Ds3 just had another monster blow-out in his pull-up. UGH! So he has been stripped and showered and dressed in jammies, and I had to change my clothes, too. UGH!

And you guys want me to have kids WHY???

My little genius just read Sam's Thought of the Day, and said, "Mama, I know the answer!"

I said, "Huh?" and he said, "The answer is no, it's not bank robbery... because it's just a pen, and they have more!"

I laughed and said, "Well, if they stole money, there would still be other money at the bank. But that's still bank robbery, right?"

He said, "Uhhhhh..."

Good morning, hyenas!

Today's a busy day, with DS7's final basketball game sad1 and awards afterward. We'll all go, which unfortunately means missing DS3's nap for the day, so wish me luck.

DH just ran out for some coffee, so I'll be sipping a chocolatey mocha in just a few minutes. Ahhhh, that's the way to start a good day!

Hello ladies!! We have had a super exciting day. Well, not really... But we did all learn how to make paper airplanes, and colored them and whatnot... Oddly enough, that took almost all morning.

I just got off the phone with my mom... and you are NOT going to believe this. She has agreed to pick my kids up, and WATCH them on the Monday that I come home from my trip so that dh can get extra rest, AND bring them to the airport to pick me up. I am stunned!!!!! Really. I am. My mom has always refused to drive my kids alone anywhere. Okay... you know what? Thats not true. When my parents moved to Reno they took Alex with them. not with them to live, of course!! You silly girls! But they drove one car down, with the boy, and we drove my dads car down... with the girl. And 3 days later. but hes the easy one.. and there were 2 of them and only one of him.... but I am just really surprised! She has changed a bit. I know why... We have never had a good relationship. It was always me and my dad.... So I think she is trying to get us closer. And closer with my kids.


Soooo... Mikalah fell in her toy box today. THAT was funny. She was trying to sit in it, but didnt take into consideration that she had taken all her toys out already. Her butt just sank to the bottom.

now they are watching Pinkey and the Brain. Remember that show? From a long time ago, and the little mouse is always trying to save the world.

I'm glad your mom is helping out. And that she seems to be making more of an effort to be involved in your family's life, I think that's great. Maybe she's a little lonely, maybe she's realizing how short life is and how much she's missed. Either way, it's a good thing.

I didn't realize how late it was, dinner is still cooking because I got a late start. Kids are saying, "Mama, we're hungry!" DH says, "Oh, didn't we tell you? We decided to cancel dinner tonight."
