He is doing alot better. I don't think he wore the sling at all yesterday and he's staring to use his arm now.

I have to take him tomorow to have the staples taken out. :scared1: Only 4 total, 2 in each incision. I have to change his bandaids every day and I can not stand looking at the staples. He laughs at me because I have a metal bar in by belly button (I've had it pierced for 9 years) and 9 piercings in my ears but I can't handle looking at the staples in his shoulder. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Tell him the staples being removed might tickle. At least they did on me when I had my c-sections. But I guess tummies are more ticklish than shoulders.

I just read on another thread that starting on March 15 McDonalds will have Disney Pirate and Princess toys in the Happy Meals. I never ever go to McDonalds but I will to get Disney toys.:rotfl:

And it's tied in with Year of A Million Dreams. 15 toys across the country will have a certificate for a free Disney Trip!

P.S. Can someone tell me how to change the name on a link? Please???

Ooooh I thought I knew but then I didnt let me see if I can remember...

:'(

i cant find anyone to go with me to WDW. waaaaah!

Albort, my sister and her hubby live in Florida, she LOVES WDW and has an AP. I'm sure they would have no problem meeting you there. Also I have two nephews that live there, both are in college and go to WDW quite a bit.

Shawna and I are both going in October. She will be there with her family, but I usually go by myself. The Race for the Cure is at the Disney Wide World of Sports, so I go for that. Last year us girls stayed at one hotel and the guys stayed at another. Yep, we stuck them over at the cheap hotel!!:rotfl:

I found a libraby book in my car yesterday that was due on January 5th! I went to turn it in and to check out some crochet pattern books and I owed $20.70. :scared1: I should have just kept the book because it had a price of $12.95 on it but I don't know if they charge the actually price if you loose one or if they add on more. (It was a hidden Mickey book BTW).

I am so bad about returning things on time. We can't rent movies from anywhere because I owe money all over town. :rotfl2:

I'm thinking you should resort to garage sale books and Netflix. One time DH left for work early (when he was working swing shift) to drop off a movie. They called me that night looking for the movie. I told them DH dropped it off that afternoon, they argued, it turned into a big yelling contest, I said close our account. Then when DH called me on his lunch break, guess what? He ran into a friend in the parking lot, started talking, lost track of time, forgot to return the movie! Great he says, now we have no where to rent movies from (only movie rental place in town). We'll have to drive 20 miles to get movies. Luckily they didn't close our account!:lmao:

Thanks.

Yep! Geez, I can't believe all the people on there that say "I don't let my kids eat McD, but I'll let them this time because it's a Disney toy"! Should I start a war over there and let them know that they can go and just purchase the toy, without all the artery clogging food that goes with it!

I may pop on and off today. Trying to get a bunch of work done and the UPS guy just arrived with a big package of work for me. TTYL

Ok I clicked on the insert link button under the smiley face button at the top. Then I inserted my link, erased the extra http// stuff that I realized was in there and then hit ok. Then on the basic reply screen I cleared out what was in between the {url} [/url} and typed my message. :cool1:

No kidding. Geez. That would be funny to go over there and say "no, you can go to your local McD's and buy all the toys they have in stock without eating!" :lmao:

YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

I could not for the life of me figure that out!

Wow, it looks like the hyena thread is going to re-locate again soon. Sings: "We're moving on up! Moving on up! To that deluxe apartment in the skyyyyy!"

Good morning, hyenas!
Very chilly here this morning (37F around 8:00 a.m.), and filtered sunlight... I'll take it!!! :yay:

I'm just getting caught up. I wasn't sure about posting the url, Moto, but (without verifying it) don't you type something like:
{url=placeurlpathhere} type any text you want to call it here {/url} ???

I usually just leave the link name the same as the path, so I'm not 100% sure on that, but I think I did the above in my TR... Hang on, I'll go look.

Here's an example (taken from my TR):

{url=http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1259348}Alex2kMommy's First Trip to DL!{/url}

The first part inside brackets is the actual link; the second part is the name you assign to it. That name is what will display once you post:

Alex2kMommy's First Trip to DL!

Today I am helping my DD25 Becky at school in her classroom. Then after that, I'm going on to the Drama room which is a disaster.

Then I have to go to Kaitlyn's classes and observe the drama and her drumline class. I'm helping with the costumes in both events, so I need to know how many kids and who needs what. Kaitlyn's first drumline competition is this Saturday.

And then she just informed me that her skit made it to county for History Day. Now I have to help figure out some sort of backdrop and costumes again. I'm starting to feel the pressure right now.
Gosh, that sounds like a lot going on!

But to be honest, it makes me excited about my kids getting involved in school activities when they're older! :yay:

I can see DS7 being very into sports (since he already is a sports nut) and maybe into chess club, which he's just started learning. DH is a very good chess player (me? I can't even remember which direction the different pieces can move  ), and he is very impressed with DS7's skills already!

DS3 is so into dress-up and pretending that I thought he'd really get into drama, and also music, since he loves to sing. But when I signed him up for a toddler "drama" sort of class last spring it was a total bust. Turns out my little thespian is too shy to do all these crazy things in front of strangers! :rotfl:

I think your DS3 could very well be the next American Idol one day! ;) :yay:
