Hmmm, that's not too far for me... :rolleyes1

Oh, who am I kidding? I can just see us in there with our 4 (soon to be 5) children. They'll pay us to leave! :rotfl:

Pshaw... Thats what the men are for. Im sure dh would LOVE that. Hey babe... I know that Im leaving the kids with you for like 5 days.... but I was thinking I could use a Spa Day before I leave!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OMG, it's not going down??? I wonder what the gel is, some sort of cooling type of thing?

I have sensitive skin and break out in a rash or acne at just about anything. I went to one of those home makeover parties one time, and broke out horribly afterward, so I guess that's also why I don't wear a lot of stuff. When I worked FT I used to wear full make-up, but I remember having to try several brands before I found one that didn't make my skin break out. After a few years it was discontinued, and I never found another one like it. (By then our office had gone "casual dress" and I guess I took that to mean my face, too.)

I've never had acne and I rarely get break outs, but I did have dry skin. I tried Neutrogena's sensitive skin type products and it didn't work. The only thing that works is if I have a pimple and I use their rapid clear or on-the-spot cream.

I went to the Elemis counter at Nordstrom last year. They did a free scan of my face and they give you a colored print out of your face. They had a laptop and they were explaining my skin type, etc. I use their sensitive skin face wash and their daily face cream and it works great. :thumbsup2

They gave me a bunch of free samples and they have a cream for pimples called S.O.S. Emergency Cream. It smells good and it works too. I had some small pimples on my chin but I used the cream and they went away. :thumbsup2

Yikes i have to run to the school. I love Bare Escentuals makeup because in one swipe it covered the red!!! That stuff is the BEST I hardly wore makeup before I found this because it never looked right.

Ok see you later girls. I need to run!

I love that stuff! Have a good day!

I have really bad skin, and the worst part was when she did the extractions. It was horrid... and it HURT.
Extractions? As in... what, blackheads?

I knew a couple girls in HS who always had really bad skin, and apparently they'd gone to have that done a few weeks before school started. Their skin looked awesome! I went through a phase in my late teens - early 20s where I broke out really bad, and then when we were going through all the infertility stuff (for YEARS) it was bad again. It seems to have calmed down again in the past year or two, but I do have blackheads, especially on my nose.

I'm still curious about getting a facial and learning how to care for my face.

Alex- you should rent My Neighbor Totoro. Dakota Fanning and her sister do the voices of the main characters. I think your DS3 and DS7would like it. It's a really cute movie. :goodvibes

Yes... they pop all your zits. You should check out the Gene Juarez web site. they have an area where they list all there treatments. When I went for the day, it was fantastic. They woman that did my facial was realy nice, and went over my skin care regime...(which includes washing my face with whatever is on my counter...:lmao: ) and she gave me a ton of info and tips. They have all kinds of facials, and different treatments there.

I know, I feel kinda guilty every time I leave DH with the boys. He works such long hours during the week, often works on the weekend as well. I do the monthly Girls Night Out, a scrapbooking workshop whenever I can (about 4 or 5 times a year, but it's all day or sometimes even 2 full days in a row.)

Every time he has the boys, he takes them over to visit his dad and stepmom. That's great in terms of giving him a bit of a break, but I think he gets a lot of questions about why I'm off doing something for me when he works so hard... :headache:

Dang it, I keep forgetting to say "Hi, Pix!"

So, Hi, Pix! :rotfl:

You know, I bet he doesnt mind it at all. I know that dh gets the same stuff... But he knows how much of a drain it can be to be alone with the kids all day every day. Besides... It gives him time to corrupt the kids into their video games and such. :lmao:

I just read some of the stuff from the GJ website, and asked me when I want to do it... :cool1: "You have to look pretty for your trip....":lmao: :lmao: He must know that a happy pregnant momma makes for a happy everyone else. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I could use that one!

There are always such cute tops in the summer with bare backs, and I just can't do those. :(

You need a spa day sister! Come on.... You know you wanna... Just think how hot we would be at DL. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good Morning!

It's been forever since I've been on so if there's anything important that I missed please let me know because I'm not going to read back all those pages I missed.

DBF's shoulder surgery went well. He is in alot of pain now though and he can't move his arm.

Awww, that's so sweet! :lovestruc

A guy he works with has been talking to him about some issues in his life. Not really problems, but things that could turn into problems if he and his wife didn't get them resolved, you know?

And DH told him, "Look. You guys need to make these decisions together and work toward a common goal. You've got to stop looking at it like something she wants vs. something you want, you need to think as a team to get what you both want."

He said if the wife wasn't happy, then the husband really needs to do what he can to make sure she is happy. He put it more nicely, but basically he was saying "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" :rotfl:

Hey Sarah! Nothing special going on here....

What's it about?

There are different versions out, but the one I like is by the creator of Spirited Away (Hayao Miyazaki).

Critically acclaimed as one of the most delightful and charming family films ever, MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO is a stunning animated treat full of magical adventure from Hayao Miyazaki. Follow the adventures of Satsuki and her four-year-old sister Mei when they move into a new home in the countryside. To their delight, they discover that their new neighbor is a mysterious forest spirit called Totoro, who can be seen only through the eyes of a child. Totoro introduces them to extraordinary characters -- including a cat that doubles as a bus! -- and takes them on an incredible journey. Full of wonder and heart, this spectacular 2-disc set features the voice talents of Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning. MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO is a magical experience for the whole family! © 1988 Nibariki • G

Hi, Moto!

Sorry to hear about your BF's surgery, and hopefully he'll be feeling better soon. :)
