Do you mean to tell me you can cook something this complicated, but can't cook a turkey?! This recipe is about 10 times harder than cooking a turkey.

I cooked my turkey! It was most delish, if I do say so myself! :snooty: :lmao: It just took me a while to get up the energy to start something so early in the day!:lmao:

howdy hyenas!

Just checking in, enjoying what is left of our warm day:goodvibes

Suppose to be in the 80's Wednesday. :yay: I declared it a grilling day, hopefully this time around I can have hubby take over the grill. I did it last time in the cold, and dark.. gosh it gets dark fast here, 5pm and poof the sun is gone, no lingering rays of sunshine.

Went on a short shopping rip to Target last night. We laughed at the people scurrying around in winter coats -- nice balmy evening, we both wore shorts and a light weight jacket.

We had a little incident while checking out at Target.... I sent hubby to buy some ummm personal lubrication :rolleyes1 Everytime he got in the aisle to get it , other people came by and had long involved discussions on what tampons/pads to buy, complete with cartfulls of children. Customers cleared out of the aisle and then a Target employee was "facing" all the tampon boxes.

Ok, so he grabs the box-- finally on our way to check out. For some reason the cashier had the belt going going going and going.. even though the person in front of us had their things off the belt already. So hubby is trying to plunk our purchases on the belt, bottles of pop rolling around and he makes a grab to stop them from rolling away. Well, he dropped the box and suddenly we had this oozing puddle of liquid on the floor.

I burst out laughing.. all that hard work of waiting, picking it out .. smashed to the floor. I run and grab a new box, nearly making a face plant on the slippery floor in the detergent aisle (previous spillage?) . Run back to hand it off to hubby to purchase.

The cashier jokes-- "so... what are you're plans this evening?" ;) as she bags our purchases.

 :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Told hubby that I nearly bought it on the way to get the replacement, and he tells me that he tried really hard for the cashier not to notice what had broken/ spilled. Apparently the lady in front of us made a move to try and help pick up the fallen box.. until she noticed what it was.. and said "ewwwww". :lmao:

It was a fitting end to a not so great day for hubby-- got a poor review from his principal :sad1: "needs improvement" for class management. Gee, give the guy a break-- don't all brand new teachers "need improvement"?? :sad2:

Once again I'm just missing everyone! :confused3

DH and DS7 are at basketball practice, DS3 is watching a Baby Einstein video, and a chicken is baking in the oven, so thought I'd stop in and see what was going on. Wow, nothing? :rotfl2:

OK, I guess I'll check back later tonight!

PS. Sam, your dad got off sooo easy! I can't imagine what your mother must have gone through before she talked to your grandmother. :scared1:

G!

Sorry to hear about your DH's review. I bet you're right, and I bet classroom management is difficult in your first year. I honestly don't know how they do it. :)

I need to go finish making dinner and then we eat. I'll try to catch up with you all later! :)

Awww... Crap! I was putting the kids to bed, and waking up dh.

Remember the good ol days when you could just jump in the back seat of a car, no advance preparation required. Now it seems like we have to work around kids schedules, personal lubricants and everyone's favorite tv show!:rotfl:

Hello!! Alex, Bernice? Are you guys still around?

Never fear, the crazy girl is here!

Its in the new rules. I have to have a notarized statement from him allowing us to get him a passport, and if we take him out of the country. Which is a total bummer, since dh's dad lives in Germany... and they havent seen Mikalah yet.
