wohho, I'm in for a ladies only trip! Glad Staley hooked us up, I know she's been wanting one for along time now.
Pixie.. that pic of your cousin's DD was precious cute!!
N (11) wanted to make one last year of trick or treating.. well I guess we are in the wrong neighborhood???

We walked up and down sveral streets around our nieghborhood... only a few houses had lights on, and even some of those did not answer their door. It was around 7 pm... prime trick or treating time, saw a few kids roving the neighborhood with no luck either.
Hubby wasn't feeling well, so we called it a night and ate candy at home while watching the Simpsons.
Far different experience for us, typically we went to my sister's neighborhood for Halloween. The boys would walk up one side for three blocks, walk down the other back to my sister's and have wayyyyyyyyyyy too much candy. Overfilling their buckets (we would walk with them and carry the extra in another bag when the bucket got full), they would then swap the non chocolate ones with my sister's DS since he is allergic to casein (milk protein) and gluten (wheat).
And ohhhhh the decorations!! Pumpkins on every door step, people at home dressed up, spooky scenes and music in the yards.
On our little walk around here.. only one person had music and fun decorations. Maybe two more that had some kind of fall decoration.
A few houses that decorated.. but no lights on ... or they didn't answer the door.
Anyway, next year we will go somewhere for an activity. N said we should do MHT instead.... I agree, Halloween here was LAME-O!!
