It was okay. I didn't have room to eat my dole whip float I'm still a little spooked from that scary movie. I thought going to DL would help but it did help a little bit. I guess I just need some time to get over it.


The park was not bad. DCA was packed like crazy for MHT. I'm glad I went to that early!

Spongie, my SIL works part time at our school district. She fills in for the secretaries when they are sick, on vacation, or training. She said today the principal showed up at 5am because his Palm Pilot tried to change the time for Daylight Savings time. Yeah, I've tried to get the kids up on non-school days also!

I didn't go into DCA. I didn't go to the MHT today, but I just hung out in DL.

Nope, and our school has late start on Mondays. Teachers have to go in early for training & meetings, but the kids start 1-1/2 hours later than normal. They still go the same amount of hours each week, they just tack on an extra 20 minutes to each day. But I'm always forgetting and waking the kids up at 6am instead of 7am on Mondays! They love me for it!

Okay, I discovered my small digital camera takes terrible night shots I should have brought my big digi cam Here's some pics:

I text Lynn because I walked into DL just as the parade was starting. No matter when I go to DL on a weekday, I always end up at the beginning of a parade.

Sorry Lynn, I tried to get a pic of Mickey but he kept moving too much!

i figured out that i had to take the picture when the float was by the lights and they turned out pretty decent

That's a good one. I was standing too far away I think. There were two dads with their kids on their shoulders in front of me. I didn't want to scooch past them. There were also people walking in front of me to get around Main St. I was standing in front of the Corn Dog cart
