In virtual queue now. 90% going to wait til single days are available but want to see what's up.

Was originally booked to go May 25-31 with Terra Luna reservation but we might hold off til Nov (sons birthday month).

No I just went to the reservations site -its an AP link but shows all rates - it seems to not have anything left now. at least the 22nd to 23rd

Direct Loews Hotels link to book APH rates at the Loews Universal hotels:

Also the two new moderate hotels are 250 a night at that time.

BTW - September rates for Helios are around $267 (stay more rate) and $100 more for club level
Thanks! Yeah I figured it out. Booked the 3 nights we wanted Jun 26-29. Standard 2 Queen Room Ended up being $477/night. I guess not an outrageous price considering it includes both Friday and Saturday nights during peak season. Also considered booking a Park View King Room and that would've been $597/night.

And that's awesome to know about September rates and Club Level!

I guess Shakespeare was "stupid" when he wrote Merchant of Venice. I guess anyone who has read Merchant of Venice is also "stupid."
Maybe you mean Othello?
The Merchant of Venice is the antisemitic play, Othello is the racist one. Both written by someone who had never been in Italy, many centuries ago.

I was calling stupid racist people, not anyone who wrote in this thread.

Also, how were you able to the Stay More rate? I'm choosing a string of like 4 or 5 nights Sunday-Thursday in September and all I'm seeing is the Seasonal rate at $357. I have the Preferred AP and it's saying the AP rate isn't available at this time.

Might be booked out already...I was also looking at 10 nights so maybe its more flexible with 10 nights

I am seeing the Stay More rate for our stay in November. I currently have RPR resort booked for EP at the other two parks and I'm honestly leaning towards just keeping it and dealing with the bus or Uber to Epic. I didn't have to go into a virtual queue and can just book Helios normally. I'm seeing plenty of availability for almost any date besides 5/22-5/26.

ETA: I did have to go into a VQ to look at ticket options, but not to look at just the hotel.

I am trying to pay our stay (no tickets booking yet) at Helios Grand but it doesn't work.

I always get the message: "Oops, something went wrong. Please attempt your action again."

I tried 10 times already.

Edit: 20 times

Edit: 50 times

$513.32 - that's the price to visit Epic Universe on opening day. Adult 3-day ticket, 1 park per day, only 1 day which can be used at Epic. In 2 days, we'll have to see what the prices for single-day tickets are for AP holders.

Universal - quite a money grab.

Actually there are days in the summer that are more Expensive than opening day.

But I’m shocked people thought it would be less, I was expecting more. It’s a brand new part with a lot of big attractions and such.

171 per day seems completely normal to me, esp for a holiday weekend and opening weekend price.

Could have charged more probably

It seems like, per the FAQ, they are using tickets as a way to manage crowds. Therefore only selling a limited quantity of tickets and I guess they feel confident they will sell out with this model. If not, they can always run a sale later on.

Would not say its a money grab - its memorial day weekend and a new park so going to be top dollar.

I am also waiting to see what the price will be for AP tickets. Hoping to get the single days. We will see.

BTW - when you buy the three day ticket with Epic - its no guarantee you will get in on the 22nd - just one of those three days you bought - and I'm not sure even that is guaranteed. "Please note that capacity is limited and not guaranteed."

Would not be surprised is folks are there crazy early on the 22nd - I think people were in line at 4Am for Galaxy's Edge if I recall correctly. Of course if you are on property you will get early entry - maybe not the 22nd - but other days.

It's not '171 per day' - It's 513 for 1 day. Nobody wants the other 2 days. The other parks are not a draw those days either - completely not worth 171 a day for them.

I was able to get two consecutive packages for July. I'll go back on 10/24 to see if I can get additional single Epic tickets around those days. Can't believe I had to buy literal throwaway tickets (although no one was twisting my arm and I'm still delighted about the outcome). Imagine the outrage if Disney were to pull a stunt like this, forcing their AP holders to buy tickets to the existing parks just to see a new park.

I was also able to get a park-view room for 3 nights at Helios for the opening weekend. Hopefully I can get single day tickets for that period since I refuse to buy any more packages (for now).

Except they're not forcing you to buy tickets to the existing parks, the single day tickets will be available for AP holders on Thursday.

That makes sense why I probably couldn't see it lol. I didn't bother logging into the VQ to buy a ticket + hotel package since we have annual passes. I was only trying to check out AP rates on the hotel booking part of the site.
