Universal Adventures of Dreams AND Magic, and an expanding World!

Congrats on hitting 10 years! And you guys looked awesome (still DO!)

:dance3:

Maybe you should celebrate with a trip to Disney? :rolleyes1

:thumbsup2

Skip is now having issues with his other hip. So his replaced hip is actually the good one now. I am worried what happens if he replaces this one too. We all know how well the first one went.

I am now trying to get back on the work out kick. I am not losing anything and everything I own is tight. I decided I need to step a bit away from the computer a little bit more to get active.

So sorry to hear about Skips other hip. I know you all must be getting paranoid now that it is bothering him. Hopefully it is just the weather. Humidity makes me hurt more than I should.

Getting started with working out is the hardest part. I am really having to talk myself into going to the gym these days. I joined Weight Watchers two years ago and I am now 12 lbs from my goal weight so I am really trying to motivate myself to get it off by Christmas. I am actually in a smaller size now than I was in high school despite weighing 10 lbs more than I did back then!

Happy Anniversary!

Kadence has been to almost everyone of our anniv. dinners and we never do anything either. We don't do big things for us at all for b-days either. We've decided to put more thought into trips!:thumbsup2

Happy Anniversary Jen! Here's your anniversary cake :cake: no calories! We don't do anything special here either unless its for River.

Jen - my husband isn't big on celebrations either - I blame his mother LOL! Our anniversaries and my birthday are usually no big deal - my daughter has to remind him and then, like you, its usually dinner out at a local restaurant, but that's okay. Just listening to the news before I go to work - prayers to all those people in Colorado, what a terrible tragedy!

I haven't even hit my first yet, congratulations on 10 years!

Well my first marriage didn't even make it to a year. LOL...That was when I was way too young and he was younger. Glad to be rid of him! ;)
Hopefully I make it to 25...you like I don't kill him before that! :rotfl2:

Happy Anniversary! That is an awesome pic! Good luck with the activity level and exercise.

Thanks. I am really forcing myself daily to exercise. I just really am not a fan of it. :rolleyes2 But I need to do it, so I have a minimum of 30 minutes as a goal. Most days I double that or close, but I figure if I at least get 30 minutes in I am doing good.

Congrats on hitting 10 years! And you guys looked awesome (still DO!)

Technically I think our trip to Universal was supposed to be to celebrate it. Unless I can talk him into something next year. :bitelip: Doubtful though. I'm sure after this Nov. trip he'll feel there is no need for me to go anywhere for a few years. :faint:

He's putting it off, but he needs to go get an xray. I am not looking forward to another surgery. But his whcked out Dr did come up with some new sugery that is the "new" thing no. He came out with it right after Skips last surgery, whioch being a redo, couldn't have been doen anyways, but basically they go in with a microscope or soemthing and very inevasive and fast healing time.
I sure wish I coul get back to that size. It's doubtful, but even close to it would make me happy. I have boxes of clothes waiting for me to lose that 50!

Happy Anniversary!!!

Thanks!!!! :hyper:

Each year gets less and less romantic. There wasn't even a card exchange.

Happy Anniversary Jen! Here's your anniversary cake :cake: no calories! We don't do anything special here either unless its for River.

I did have dessert. I told Skip I was getting dessert no matter what, even if we brought it home and Claire said the same thing. We each got a peanut butter chocolate chip cheesecake and ate half of our pieces when we got home and the other half for breakfast yesterday. :worship: Very good!

Skip acts like birthdays are no big deal...but then gripes if he doesn't get something. But he NEVER buys me a gift anymore.
I am out of the loop, what happened in Colorado? My tv consists ususally of Nicoledean or Disney channel.

Day 13 ~ Nov. 14

It's time to go home. Boy that is so sad. But we still have half a day left. Our flight doesn't leave till 5:55 PM, so we won't have to catch ME till around 3.
Speaking of flights, that flight lowered in cost again today. Not much, but I made the adjustment, and it was booked with points, so I got points refunded to may account and those don't have to be used by Claire, which is nice.

I currently have 7 day tickets with my package, so we could go to a park this day. But I am thinking that maybe it would be best to just hang out and let Claire get a last dose of swimming and relax. We could also go to DTD if we wanted to. But the bus system going to and from is always so slow. I am really thinking that we just might stay put at AoA and not go anywhere. I still have time to decided and I may just make my ticket a 6 day one and save a few bucks.
It really is going to be a long 13 days and Claire will be so tired, and I am sure I will be too at that point. If we could walk to a park, then I might think differently, but at AoA we will be relying on bus systems to get us anywhere.

We will check in our bags in the morning, but keep a carry on with essentials in it.

So around 3 we will head off to the airport.

I'm sure security will be a mad house at that time. It was last year at least when I left late in the day. We'll probably try to grab a bite to eat to take on the plane.

Hopefully we have an uneventful flight, and I am hoping Claire falls asleep too.

We arrive back at around 8:05 PM. My sister is going to pick us up.
I now need to decide if I want to drive another 2 1/2 hours home (I know Skip will be anxious to see us) or spend the night and go back in the morning. Ideally I will drive home and get to bed, let Claire sleep in and take her for a half day of school the next day. But I am wondering how tired I will be and if I really should spend the night at my sisters again and just drive home Thursday morning. She actually invited us to stay the whole weekend, but there is no way we would do that.
It might be something I decide that night. I know I'll want to get home, but I don't want to be falling asleep while driving either.

And then the depression will set in. The after Disney blues. I'm sure it will take a few days to get caught up on sleep and back to lifes routines. And at that point, I won't have a clue when I'll be back again. I have been very fortunate the last 2 years to have traveled so much, but I am not sure what 2013 holds for us, if anything. That is the most depressing part about a trip ending.....for us, we usually don't know when we'll go again.

But I will be reliving all the fun (and I sure a few not so fun times) with a Trip report...that I guess will take me a year to complete, going by the current rate it is taking me to write my most recent one.

UGH! I hate the thought of going home, even more of not having the thought of something down the road.

We have to drive those 2 1/2 hours home form the airport and that's when tempers always seem to fly.

John asked me if it was okay to not buy cards this year. He said 5 bucks is a lot of waste to just get thrown out. Maybe he doesn't hear me when I tell him I've saved cards...:rolleyes1

I always hate departure days! If it were me and I was that close to home, I'd go ahead and make the drive. But, we are used to driving all the way home once we leave Disney and that drive is between 14 and 16 hours.

I sure hope that ya'll get to go back to Disney in 2013. I gotta have another Disney trip planned or else I go into a deep dark Disney depression and it's not a pretty sight. :lmao:

Well gee... what an uplifting entry! :lmao:

You couldn't have maybe....... just left all that part OFF, could you???????

Not much fun going home :scared1: but I am pretty sure you will come up with a nice trip to Disney for 2013 as well. ;)

I find cards kind of a waste of money too. I usually buy the cheapy ones when I do buy them.

leaving just sucks, doesn't it? I will try to get something going, but I can't promise myself anything till I see how the year goes.

I hope something comes up, but I'll have to see how things go.

Nothing sounds better to me than spending the last day in the pool! Or you could hit the outlet malls on the way to the airport.

We're looking now at flights for next spring. We may also do SW out of Columbus again, much cheaper than CLE, and Allegiant still hasn't released spring flights yet! :confused3

I'm thinking after a long trip like that spending a day relaxing at the pool sounds great I'm sure Claire would love that.

I can't drive at night or I'll fall asleep driving. I'm ok on the daytime. Could you sleep at your sisters and then drive home in the morning and still get Claire there for a half day? Or would she be to tired?

And Allegiant now charges and arm and leg for carryons... a very big turn off for me.

I'll be using ME to get to the airport, so no stop offs at the outlet mall. Though it does sound temptiing.

If I spent the night. I don't expect her to go to school. By the time we get up and make that drive it probably wouldn't be worth it.

I am at 100 days till we fly to Florida! :cool1:

That means tomorrow is the double digit dance! :dance3:
