undercover tourist? upgrade later???

Has anyone used undercover tourist to buy their tickets and then upgraded them?

A friend recently got tickets through them and I want to use them for an upcoming trip. But we are going to decide during the trip if we want to add the park hopper. I called Disney and they said they do not know if they can upgrade the tickets. I called undercover tourist and they told me that I WILL be able to upgrade the tickets at the customer service desk in the park. Has anyone done this before?

We just did an upgrade on UCT tickets. They were 10 d NE tickets and we upgraded to annual passes. No problem at guest relations in MK.

I had 3 7 day MYW with water park and more and while on property, POR, I went to guest services as I had 2 park days and 6 water days left. Upgraded to 10 days AND non expire, she re-issued the tickets for me. SIMPLE and they DO NOT upcharge you for the discount you paid. Be sure to ADD any extra days AFTER first use, which guarantees you do NOT have to pay difference in price (discount) you paid thru UCT.

As far as HOPPER thats just an add on that is the same for whatever length of stay so you can do that at anytime.
I'd use UCT again.
(we now have tickets for our 09 trip in hand, LIFE IS GOOD!)
