Hello everyone,

So I've received various suggestions to purchase my Disney tickets through Undercover tourist so I could save some cash. I'm reading about them and it says all the tickets they are authentic tickets and you are able to still use fasspass+ I just was wondering if anyone who had purchased tickets from them can tell me their experience with them and if they had any problems. I'm usually skeptical of discounted WDW tickets and usually avoid them.

Try a search on the boards and I'm sure you can find numerous recent threads with many responses validating tickets from. Undercover Tourist as well as some other authorized Disney Resellers. I just used UT purchased tickets at Easter and upgraded them to APs with no issue. I plan on buying some Universal tickets for my next trip from UT. There is no reason to worry.

There are quite a few authorized resellers and you should be fine with any. UT is often the cheapest. What you want to avoid is unauthorized sellers, like those on the side of the road in Kissimmee or random ebay sellers.

We've used them several times -they are extremely reputable.

this trip will be our third time using them for our family of 4, first time with the whole magic band thing. Another trip was to add them to a FD package we had, back when you only needed to book 1 ticket, we held on to our 1 required ticket and just had our UT ones put on the package, no problems. I will be linking our tickets tonight, have been holding off to the very last minute of our 60 day window since once they are linked they can't be returned (less 5% fee)DS just landed a new job and not sure he can come :worried: anyway, I do not anticipate any problems with the tickets themselves, and am hopeful linking them will go smoothly. Many say to scan them with your smartphone onto the Disney App, but I do not have a smart phone so PC version it is!
With the high cost/investment on tickets I completely understand your concern, but you should have no issues with them being "authentic park admission" :)

Our second time using them. I was able to get the tickets, link them to my reservation thus putting them on our magic bands. Couldn't be easier. FP+ all worked just fine.

If you have time, search and sign up for the "Mouse Savers" newsletter. Once you get the newsletter look for the "hidden link" which will direct you to UT website and _should_ give you an even better discount. That's what I've done for both purchases.

We have only purchased our Disney tickets (and others) through Undercover Tourist, for at least the last 12 years. The Disney tickets ARE authentic and will do everything they are supposed to do. Don't be afraid, go for it. :thumbsup2

Check the usssa store also, they are a youth sports organization that sells discounted tickets. These tickets are cheaper than ut but have a specific expiration date and I don't believe they are upgradable, but are legit.

UT is great. Good prices, good service, zero problems with fastpasses, upgrades, anything.

just finished adding our tickets from UT to MDE and happy to report no issues :thumbsup2
you will be fine:thumbsup2

We've used UT tickets for several years. No issues whatsoever.

Question:

If I buy tickets from UT and book a room only, when I link the tickets from UT, will I be able to add the DDP?

will you still get a magic band if you book room through AAA and get UT tix? still do fp+ 60 days out too? sorry, so overwhelmed and confused right now... searching and clicking... the more I understand the more q's I have,lol...

I give a big 2-thumbs up to Undercover Tourist. I've ordered tickets for four separate World vacations and have always received my tickets in a safe and timely manner. They have supplied me with Hoppers, La Nouba tickets, Disney Quest tickets, etc. They will always have my business.

The free DDP is for packages only. I booked a room only and bought tickets thru UT, but there is no option for free DDP when doing this.

Please don't have any worries over using UT. I've used twice and the tickets came promptly. I've read several posts from people asking the same as you and I've read the responses. I haven't heard a single, negative comment about them.

I'm not sure if you have children but if you do, you might look into enrolling them in a class with the Disney Y.E.S program because you can also save money buying your tickets under the program. Under individual enrollment, the kids can enjoy a special 3 hour class at one of the theme parks with you and you can enjoy quite a sizable discount on your tickets. Like I said, we've used UT twice. But this 3rd trip I'm enrolling my kids in the program and I think I saved around $240! I've got waterparks and more and park hopper on my tickets. I feel like I'm living the dream this trip LOL! And we are finally staying on property too

Not Only free, but DDP period, even paid. You can't get a DDP if you buy your tickets separately.

If you want to get a AAA room discount, you don't need to book thru AAA. Just call Disney reservations and ask for a AAA discount. You need to show your AAA card at check-in. AAA is not usually the best room discount, if there are other discounts going on at WDW. Ask the Disney agent what specials are going on. There is a forum here on Disboards discussing current offers, and Mousesavers.com keeps up with current offers, too.

Personally, I've tried booking thru AAA, and either I get an agent who doesn't know much about WDW, or they are slow to respond when you try to call or email about a change to your reservation. Just go directly to Disney and get better results.

If you want to add Disney Dining or Disney Free Dining, you have to buy a minimum one or two-day ticket for each person in the room. Disney Dining means you will give up a room discount and pay full price. You have to figure, based on how many in your party, if room discount is better than paid-for food. It can go either way. In this case, you can use UT tickets. Just have your minimum Disney tickets put on separate plastic media and take them home to use for another trip, or you can sell them (it's legal).

Thanks for the info. I priced the tickets I would need on UT and the savings amounted to $96 from buying through Disney. Not sure the savings is worth the hassle.
