If you want to party there will be parties, obviously this age limit thing is very hard to enforce. Granted I've seen underage people get termed for drinking and being at parties where people were drinking. But I've seen just as many do the same and not get caught.
I don't recall anyone down there having difficulty finding parties, whether they were over or underage. I wasn't a big partier so that's about all the info I have.

ah so even being at a party where theres alcohol i get termed? lame, i suppose i could of "forgotten" my i.d?

I think as long as you're smart about it, you'll be ok. Just choose your parties wisely. If it's a huge, loud party with drinking there is obviously a larger chance that someone will complain and security will be called. And they WILL check ID's and if you don't have one with you...well, they obviously have ways of figuring out the truth. If it's just a small gathering...you're probably fine.

Honestly I think you'd be ok if you were just at a party with drinking (although you might have to prove to security that you weren't drinking). I think the problem with being at a party like that is security would assume you were drinking too. I do know that if say I am over 21 and I have a party at my apartment and people are drinking and some people under 21 come over and drink...well, then I could get in a lot of trouble as well. Which sucks, because then not only the underage person drinking is in trouble, but the apartment residents are too. If you want to be safe, I would recommend drinking away from the apartment complexes and when you attend parties at the complex don't drink. If you have to drink in the apartments, then choose smaller, quieter parties. Like Dreamstuff said, I've seen plenty get caught for it and plenty get away with it. I remember the first night of my CP 6 guys were kicked out for underage drinking. It definitely happens. It's kind of like sex, the only 100% protection is abstaining ;) But good luck! And like I said, just be smart about it and you'll most likely be fine

Security will not eat up the "no ID" excuse, not at Disney apartments. Everyone is issued a housing ID, and it will say in big capital letters Under 21. If you don't have an ID they will make you get one, if you don't produce it you'll be consider a trespasser, and if somebody says you're with them that other person will be terminated.

Word of advise, party as much as you can. Don't risk going home over having alcohol. It's not easy having to vacate housing in 24 hours... and they will show no mercy.

Typically, within the first month of any CP season, 150-300 CPs are sent home for underage drinking. (that number may have gone down since PI closed, not sure)

No...the security guards are on property with you and know the apartments very well they will just follow you home or take your name and come back later if you try that.

You can go to any party you want just don't get drunk or to where you're acting drunk. Don't get caught with the drink in your hand. Don't do anything to make people rat on you. If a party seems like it's a little loud or crazy leave...go to another party it's not worth getting sent home.:thumbsup2

now im not saying im going on a drinking binge when i get there, please noone take it that way. i just enjoy social events and was curious if it was worth attending them with the factor of termination being the result. i dont want to be removed from the program so ill just keep any party like activities outside of the compound. thank you everybody!

Don't worry about people taking it the wrong way a lot of people go out nightly including underage people and go to work/extend just like those who do the non party path. It's all about your personality if you can make it to work and party then enjoy yourself! But if not be smart enough to change you know?

Oh, I'm not saying you're going to go get completely smashed :)
Just be wary of your parties and social gatherings! A chance like yours is envied by many, so take care of it!

What happens if you turn 21 while down there?
(I know no alcohol in wellness apts)

What to do if your roommates bring alcohol into a wellness appt?

If you turn 21 while down there you will have to get a new Apt ID. When you do they will make you sign paperwork if you are going to stay in your wellness apt. You can request to change to a non-wellness. I don't know if they will charge you for the switch.

I'm pretty sure they don't charge you in that case. Nor will they charge you for a new ID.

If you turn 21, you can get your Id changed and if you want to move into a non wellness apt, they will let you without having to pay for anything.

If a roommate or anyone bring alcohol into a wellness apt and they catch them the entire apartment gets terminated, no questions ask! They are extremely strict about that. So, if one of your roommates bring alcohol, ask them to get rid of it and if they don't, tell security. Informing security about the alcohol and how your roommate would not get rid of it will save you from being terminated. Be careful and on the lookout for any hidden alcohol in the apt because they do surprise inspections sometimes!

If the people living in the apartment are the ones to turn the person in I don't think everyone gets fired. So I say if you're under 21 rat on them...no sense in everyone going home because of one persons poor judgment.

Exactly! So, gather all of the roommates who don't like the alcohol being brought into the wellness apt and tell security about the roommates who are allowing the alcohol. Even if you like your roommates and are friends with them, go ahead and still tell on them. If they were really your friends, they wouldn't be risking everybody's cp and jobs like that. It's not worth it to get terminated over something stupid like that.

If the Beer is in the fridge... everyone is gone because they will say that because its in a common area you all should have known about it and you all are responsible..... if the beer is in a persons room... then the entire apartment is not at risk... only the two people in the room will be told to leave... and this is only if the beer or other illegal substance is just sittin out in the open in the room like on the desk or bed or somethng....

When they do inspections they do not go through your things... they dont open your bags of clothes they dont open up your lockers and check what is inside them... they walk around make sure nothing is broken and they leave.... so if you are underage and your going to have stuff in your apartment... all you have to do is put it in your locker or bag or something and it will NEVER be found....

They discuss these rules in the initial housing meeting the first day you are down there.... and they discuss that as long as its not in the common areas then everyone else in the apartment could just deny knowing of it and you and your personal roomate would get bagged if you are busted
