If you are using Magical Express, just purchase an inexpensive on online from Wal-Mart.com or some other website, and have it shipped directly to the Fort. Pass it on or discard at the end of your trip, or ship it home.

We sometimes leave a crockpot on outside while we're away, never had any problems. Probably wouldn't mind leaving one inside either, but really no reason to since we can have it outside just as easily.

We leave our crockpot inside on the metal stove cover...love our george foreman too for a quick meal.
