UK Free Dining 2007

So, did anyone else take advantage of this offer?

I've been on wdwmagic and it seems that few people have snatched up this deal.

I wasn't suppose to returning to WDW til 2008, but when we saw this offer we just couldn't resist

yes, we are doing free dining next year, we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside and flying with Virgin. can't wait!

We took the offer up with Virgin. Like you we were not going next year as we are going in 3 weeks time but soon changed our mind. I think as long as dd (14) still wants to go we will carry on going. I can't imagine going without children but that time will soon come.

We're also flying with Virgin, they were £50 more than TravelCityDirect (after I did a bit of bartering with the lovely people at Virgin ) but I'd heard mixed reports on them and we went with Virgin last year, so stuck with what we knew was good.
We're going on the last date the ofer was available, 29th September, anyone else gonna be there when we are?

In reference to my bertering, it's amazing what you get if you push. (and I'm not a pushy person, just asking again did the trick) The first day I had to ring Virgin as the Internet wasn't pricing the plan up correctly, so they honoured my online discount. I told them TCD's price and they said there was no one I could have any more discount as they'd already done this and the 3 free nights at Pop offer as well as the free dining.

Decided to book and rang again the next day, spoke to another girl and gave her the spiel about TCD being cheaper but I'd rather go with them and lo and behold she goes and asks someone, then knocks £100 off!!!

Persistance pays!

We have booked it for next September at Pop, I booked ours through WDW website so I now have to book our flights but I am waiting till for the right price comes along (hopefully).

I should have done this, I bet it would have worked out cheaper.
But I was too chicken to wait and see and discover that it cost more, my darling bf would be mad that I persuaded him free dining would save us money and then the flights end up being too expensive! So I booked the package with Virgin.
I'm still pretty sure it would have been cheaper to do it separately, but I have no idea what sort of flight cost to roughly expect....

We are going with Virgin too! We are staying at Coronado Springs as Virgin were ofering the 3 free nights and with our 10% Frequent virgin discount means we got a very good deal

Yes, we booked for sept with first choice, staying at POFQ. Had it originally for aug at POP, but changed after much debate about going in school time, and saved £1,000! Plus the free dining!

Can you use this on your 3rd trip or after your 3rd trip?
A Virgin reservationist I spoke to said "next time you'll be able to use your Frequent Virgin discount and get 10% off" but this is only our second trip with Virgin. I thought our 3rd trip needed to be complete and then you could use the discount from the 4th trip onwards?
Darn, should have got the reservationist's name and the date, they record their phone calls for discrepancies like this, cudda got me an early discount for next time!

We are travelling on the 9th Sept. Unfortunately we had with TCD coz Virgin could not accomodate us all in one room. PORR was booked. Fingers crossed they are good or least they are ok. I will reserve judgement till we have flown with them otherwise I will panicing until we go.

So what should I expect the weather to be like at this time of year? (Going 29th Sept for 2 weeks) Does it rain frequently in October?
I've always gone in November previously.

You can use for your 3rd booking onwards You will need to book your holiday and then join the Frequent Virgin Club and let them know the booking details and they will apply the benefits You just need the month, year and place of the holidays including the upcoming one

hi does anyone know when the free dining ends if you book direct with disney, we had to wait to find out if we could go in sept next year and missed the virgin offer, thanks for any advice susie2

We got free dining too. We're flying with First Choice on 18th August and doing a split stay between POFQ and Poly.
