I absolutely cannot believe that anyone would actually say something as ridiculous as this. Yes, we all know that innocent people get killed in a war. It happens. There are a lot of various reasons to defend this strike. But to sit back and try to make it sound like they deserved what they got serves absolutely nothing but to escalate the hatred. Try to remember for a second that these were human beings. One might just as easily say the Americans who died there are responsible for their own deaths, they went there didn't they? How absurd does it sound when you put it that way?

I agree. I dont' think there is enough information yet to really know exactly what happened, but just because they were there doesn't mean they were not innocent. I think a better example than the Americans who died there would be the Americans who die in our own cities every year. Then it really sounds absurd.

If they were innocent, I think it is a sad event that occurred, a mistake. If it was a safehouse, then the children should not have been there and I would place the blame on the adults who took them there.

Deaths of civilians are definetly justified. They will happen because our weapons and intelligence are not 100%, therefore non-targets must be killed in order to eliminate our targets. It's simple math. It may not be nice, but it's war. Get over it. Kerry voted for it.
