Single digit dance!


See I'm still here following along! Didn't want to miss the dancing!

So I reluctantly picked up the phone and cancelled Le Cellier. I replaced it with something in MK. (Don't remember what.)
Once that was all taken care of (took a few minutes) I set the phone down and...

The very second I put the phone down... the very instant I did that...

Both girls say "We've changed our mind! We want to go see Figment one last time!"

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I grabbed the phone, quickly called back reservations.
"I just cancelled an ADR at Le Cellier a couple of seconds ago, is it still available?"

Wow that is insane! I'm soooo glad we can do online ADR's now. I shudder at the thought of having to be up at the crack of dawn and have to speak to a live person! Le Cellier was a very hot ticket back then!

Looks like shy town was a ton of fun. I had a quick trip there last month but no time to do much of anything. Likely going back later this summer and pizza must be had

You must have pizza when you go back! Actually we thought Chicago overall hav great food. Colorado is not known for its amazing food, so we get excited going just about anywhere!

The Big Minnie ( aka obnoxious polka dot suitcase) is all packed up and ready to go! Thankfully I have a very full schedule at work tomorrow to keep me occupied and then we will stay in Denver for the night tomorrow night to keep us close to the airport for the oh so lovely 4:30am wake up. Hopefully our flight will be uneventful and by 12:30ish on Thursday we will be in Orlando

I'm going to try really hard to do a semi live trip report, or daily blog, (try being the operative word.) I'm not going to be doing a full TR for this trip so I'll do the best I can to write about our day's activities while we are there.
The weather looks decent, typical Florida in early June and crowd levels look moderately high but it's A-ok!
In two days I'll be seeing this beauty!

So ambitious! It amazes me when people are able to do this. It's all I can do just to get on the DIS my first day with the obligatory "I'M HERE, YA'LL!" post!

I'm not going to be doing a full TR for this trip so I'll do the best I can to write about our day's activities while we are there.

TODAY IS THE DAY! !!!

We made it!!!!!!!

We have had an awesome day! We arrived at the Contemporary around 2:00 and checked in with Kaitlyn, she was fantastic, she took the time to explain everything from A to Z. We then had lunch at the Contempo cafe and each got the turkey BLT which was really quite good. I'm not a huge fan of cranberry sauce but it was on the sandwich and it worked perfectly. I also got a churro cupcake, yum! But it was huge and I could only eat half of it. For some reason my phone hasn't uploaded pictures to my iPad yet so I don't have many pics to share just yet..
Our room wasn't ready after lunch so we dropped off a bag with the valet and walked over to MK and got a lot done, 7DMT, Space, Splash, Pirates, The People mover ( sorry @kastoney, no pretzel on the pooper today) to name a few. It feels like we got a lot done at the MK today. And it was hot, like Africa hot.
It was coming up on 8:30 and we still had not seen our room so we decided to walk back and check it out. All I have to say is OMG! The view is to die for. We are sitting on the balcony right now watching the electric water pagent float by, it's pretty surreal.

We are on the 11th floor and it's perfect. The resort itself is nice, yes a little "non Disneyesque" but the room and view make up for it in spades. I'm sitting here looking at the Poly and the GF, the castle and space mountain and listening to the ferry boat horns and occasionally you can hear Casey JR. Comin' down the track. It truly is magical.
We're just going to hang out here and have our own private Wishes party!

Despite no pretzels on the pooper, look at that view!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How amazing for you guys. Glad the first day was wonderful and fingers crossed the heat dissipates a bit so you can truly enjoy. Can't wait for more!
