Two Trip Reports..

In my room I found an old journal that included 1-2 trip reports from my 2008 and 2009 trips. It made me kind of sad to read it because it has been 2 years since then and I have changed. I was a lot happier back then and was very excited for Disney. Now a days I just hope I can get through the upcoming trip without being a zombie. I am very worried that I won't enjoy myself because I really don't enjoy anything anymore. I am suffering from PTSD and it just sucks day in and day out. . I hope you like my trip reports. The things in Red and Bold are commentary made my by me.

January 10, 2008

Right now I am sitting in our hotel room at Pop Century in Disney. It's still early. Yesterday (January 9 - arrival day) we went to Disney Hollywood Studios. There I rode the Aerosmith Roller Coaster 3x.The 1st time I had to wait 20 minutes, the 2nd time I just walked up along with the 3rd because I learned about the single rider lane.

We also rode The Great Movie Ride where I saw the actor who played Bert in Mary Poppins (the Movie)'s hand and shoe prints Back then I was a big fan of the actor who played Bert Fan After that we drew Pooh Bear at the Animation studios, which was right before we ate dinner at the Sci-Fi which was disappointing.

Today (1-10-2008), we are going to DHS so I can ride the Tower of Terror (for the first time) and perhaps ride Aerosmith again. Then we are going to Epcot to meet up with my mom's friend and her 2 kids.

January 13, 2008

Friday we went to Epcot with my mom's friend and her 2 kids. At Epcot we went on Figment, Universe of Energy, along with Spaceship Earth. After that we got some neat gifts such as a baby kitty cat, a toy car and a I got a Stitch Piggy bank.

On Saturday, my mom and I went to DHS and went on the Tower of Terror, which I sort of loved. I didn't like the going up part, which I thought was scary (lol) but I loved going down. lol. After that I went on Aerosmith only once because it gave me a headache. Then we drew Donald and Tigger at the Animation Studio. Then we hopped over to Epcot to eat dinner at the Nine Dragons. It wasn't as good as we remembered.

Today, (01-13-2008), we are going to the Magic Kingdom, and for dinner we are eating the Coral Reef, yey. The Italian place (Tutto Italia) was really good so I got another reservation for Monday.

December 2, 2008

I convinced my mom to go to Disney in January (3rd-9th) in 2009. Splash MT will be closed again for refurbishing. Also I got reservations for restaurants: Tutto Italia, Mama Melrose's and Rose and Crown. We fly out of Newark on the 3rd.

Since the actor's name (who plays Bert in MP) comes out as a curse word, i decided to be blunt about it. I don't want my report to be deleted due to a curse word I don't use...lol. I guess it's hard when your last name also has meaning to a word people don't like saying. lol.

January 3, 2009 - Arrival Day

Right now it is 8:32am. We got into Orlando at 10:30am. We had to go to the baggage claim to get my mom's suitcase, but it wasn't there. So we had to spend more time on another line to get customer service to either call us when it got there. We then proceeded to go to the Magical Express. We reached Pop Century at 12 noon and registered. We then went to our room to store my carry on. (Our room number was $2333.).

After that I went to MK to ride Splash MT before it was closed, while my mom went to Epcot to meet our friends. I waited 90 minutes on the line and eventually got on. lol. After that, I took the monorail to Epcot where my mom and I ate at the Rose and Crown while our friends went on Maelstrom. They were not on the dining plan, because of the kids many food allergies. They have tried to eat at Disney but after a few mishaps with food that included the use of eppy pens, they bring their own food to the parks. After dinner the 5 of us went to DHS to see the Osbourne lights, and also saw Fantasmic. We headed to our hotel, and checked my voice mail on my phone. No voice mail from Airport. We then checked our room voice mail and was told that Mickey did a little magic and transported my mom's bag to the bag check out front. My mom was so great-full.

January 4, 2009

Today we went to DHS and tried to go on TSm. We so close to the ride but they ended up closing the ride due to some kid throwing up on it, so we ended up getting fast passes, so we went to the Animation studio and drew Eeyore. After THAT we hiked back to TSM and got on. I teamed up with our friend's daughter. I got a score of 74,000. After that we went on the great movie ride and then our friends went home. .

My mom and I walked over to the Tower of Terror where I got a fast pass. We then went on Aerosmith, did TOT and headed to Epcot for dinner at Germany, which wasn't that good. We then came back to the hotel at 7pm because we were exhausted.

January 5, 2009

Today I collected more fast passes for my collection. I got one from Space MT, 2 from Winnie The Pooh since 1 was a Surprise FP for Philarmagic (we didn't use). We then went on BTM, TTA, Stitch and the Magic Kingdom Train. My mom had bought me pins and a tshirt for me. (That T-Shirt was later stolen at college. Why would someone want to steal someone's tshirt?).

We then went to DHS for dinner at Mama Melrose's, which was okay. But first we went on Star Tours. This is not one of my favorite rides but I'm looking forward to the new and improved one this upcoming November. THen we tried to go on TSM but the line was so long so we went to draw. First I drew Dale from Chip and Dale, whcih turned out really good. Then my mom and I drew WWII Pluto which was cool, since it was different. After that I went on Aerosmith, which was a lot of fun.

We headed back to the hotel around 8:00pm. Once back, we changed Wednesday's Dinner ADR from Tony's to the liberty tree tavern.

January 6, 2009

We went to Epcot. There we went on Test Track, Mission Space, and Figment. We ate lunch at the electric umbrella. It took 60 minutes to get lunch because all the computers were down. At figment I got a figment figurine for my desk [COLOR="red'](I still have this figurine too. It's one of my favorite things I have from WDW)[/COLOR][/b] After that we went to AK where we had an ADR at the Tusker House. We got to the restaurant at 2:30pm so we went on the safari to kill some time and got to see the parade 2x. It was really cool because we didn't see that parade before. Then we went to dinner. Dinner was okay. It was better than Germany though.
We came back to the resort at 7pm where I went to the arcade. lol

[b]January 7, 2009[/b]

my mom and I got up early and went to DHS. There, we went to TSm 1st thing and got Fast passes. Then I went on Aerosmith which gave me a headache. After that we just walked around and went on TSM at our scheduled time. I scored a 95,600 mom scored a 86,300. After that we drew Tigger and Mickey at the Animation Studios. I also got my photo taken w/ Sorcerer Mickey as well. When we got out it started to rain, so we walked quickly to the commissary for lunch. During lunch we sat and talked to a family and talked about how mean people were at Disney this year w/ pushing and cutting on line. They told us there was a fist fight at the MK between two ladies.

After lunch we went downtown to go shopping. I designed my own tshirt for my graduation. I also got a few more things such as a tshirt, a magnet, and a keychain along with a duffle bag and a book to put pins in.[b][COLOR="red"]In my opinion the book that is designated to keep pins in is a bad investment because once you put a few pins in it, it becomes very bulky. I now am putting my pins on the quark boards on my wall..
We then hopped on a bus to the Floridian (since it was already there) to get the monorail for MK for dinner at LTT. After that we went on the HM. (I'll admit it, I can no longer go on the Haunted Mansion due to emotional problems. But I'm looking forward to checking out the Que Line.). After that we went to Mickey's Philarmagic right before we left to go back to the hotel to miss the firework people leaving.

January 08, 2009

We first went to the MK. There we went on the Jungle Cruise, POTC, Mickey's Philarmagic, TTA, and Buzz lightyear spin, along with Astro Orbiter (for the first time...ever). After that we went to lunch in tomorrow land where it was really crowded. We also went on the Carosel of Progress. (my favorite song from the park is "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow," and the other song from CP.

After lunch we park hopped to Epcot. We got to sit in front of the Monorail. At Epcot we went on test track and figment and soarin (after dinner). I went on Mission Space (Orange). What was really weird was that there was hardly anybody in the park. So i was able to walk right up to the ride. We ate dinner at the Rose and Crown where they got rid of my favorite dish. . Oh and at soarin i found someone w/ Stitch as yoda pin and everybody wanted to trade for it w/ afterwords. But i liked it too much to part w/ since Stitch is one of my favorites.
