We stumbled out of the restaurant and looked around...what do we do, now? We focused on the foliage. Not sure if there just wasn't enough action going on that appealed to us, or if we decided to become moonlight gardeners...
I had to get this shot of Mickey & Minnie:
Then, while we admired Lady and the Tramp, a kind CM offered to take our picture...
What else should we drink, we wondered. There were many choices available to us, but I remembered hearing that the tequila bar had some of the best tequila (obviously), and we decided to go more hard-core than the little white wines we had sipped in Biergarden.
On our way back, we saw these:
They seemed kind of shapeless, to me. Like clouds that just happen to look like pandas.
Somewhere along our path back to Mexico, we had to go bathroom. How do I remember this?
Not a particularly fond memory, but you have to remember that I was slightly buzzed, and it occurred to me that I should capture the memory of what I was always looking at. Now, what was in this particular bag? Where did it come from? You'll have remembered it from the Lady & the Tramp pic. I remembered that there was a t-shirt my daughter wanted from the Japanese store, so we popped in there and I called her up to ask her what it looked like. It was a plain looking shirt that had the name of a Ramen store on it, taken from a Japanese cartoon called Naruto. She was so excited about it.
So...yes. A picture of a bag, hanging in the bathroom stall at Disney World. So many people see it during their trip, yet few have chosen to immortalize it.
We make our way to the Tequila bar in the Mexican pyramid, and the name of the place escapes me. So, at the time, did the courage I thought I had to do tequila shots. I looked at Melissa...did she have the courage to do tequila shots? Would my courage be bolstered by hers?
...
Yeah, right. We both hmmm'd and hawwed at the menu, and the waiters quickly realized our insignificant selves would not be ordering a lush amount of alcohol from their shelves, and they forgot about us standing there. For some reason, we both decided to have some form of strange margaritas that they were selling. None of them sounded good to us.
We should have taken the hint at the fact that none of them sounded good.
We ordered what we thought sounded palatable, hoping that if we didn't like our own, we could trade.
We sat down at a table, which we were surprised to have gotten one, this late. Our drinks arrived.
Here's my view from the table, looking at the bar behind Melissa.
We both regretted our drinks, I think. We tried each others. Not much better...look at the look on Melissa's face.
Well, it WAS alcohol. It DID have some effect on us. Ridiculously, we both decided that the guacamole and chips that people were eating sounded good.
Can you imagine how many calories we consumed that night???
No, please don't try to tell me. It's monstrous.
That guacamole was the bomb. We ate it like it was Christmas.
Meanwhile, the little waiter that was flitting here and there was flirting with the little girls over at the table across from us. We were miffed that he didn't flirt with us, too.
Eventually, we decided we'd had enough for the night, and called it a night.
I have no idea why I took this picture, but it was the last of the night:
I didn't have to put my foot down on the floor that night, but I don't remember much of the "going to bed" process...
I will say...we had a great time!!
