On another note, yay for another trip!!! We will be there in 3 days!!!! So excited!!

We had one goal in mind for the Magic Kingdom -- one more experience that would cap off our weekend girlfriend adventure...

But that didn't mean that we didn't stop and breathe in the atmosphere...

Or, see the sights.

Or, hear the sounds...

...enjoy the wildlife...

...smell the flowers...

...and get surprised by a bumblebee!!

I can't wait to hit that spot up on Tuesday!!! We are getting ready to go in a few hours!!!!! The only things I have left to pack are a few bathroom items, toothbrushes and stuff, razors, and face cleaners!! Can't wait!!

As we waited on our turn, it seemed like we were trying to soak in the last of our trip...I watched as Melissa looked for those last, scenic shots.

Ah, at last -- Dole Whip float!

I had the Dole Whip ice cream before, but without the "floating" aspect -- it wasn't as good. I was glad to have gotten the famous treat right, this time.

It was SUPER crowded! I don't know if you could tell by the pictures, but we are actually sitting on a curb. It was hot, and it takes some desperation for a seat for me to decide to sit down on a curb.

Goofy was looking handsome in the nearby window, so I tried to get a good picture of him.

We finished up our floats, and started back to the resort. On the way out, Melissa pointed out Donald's feet, hanging out --

I am somewhat fascinated by the upper floors of the buildings -- someone once told me that the objects that you see are artificially "smaller" than normal, to give the perspective that they are farther away. So, I frequently take pictures of them:

On Main Street, we popped into the shop that had artwork -- I preceded to look for some good close-ups...

Just so you don't feel so bad about the whole "peeing in your pants episode" I will share my story so we can be embarassed together.
When I was 19 (shameful, I know) My now hubby, then boyfriend was moving to Gainesville (FL). I was quite sad about this fact (eventhough I was moving up there 2 weeks later!!) So my best friend and I decided to get wasted, I am not even sure they still make the stuff we started with, it was that Jack daniels punch, in the big glass jug, and it was red. Now we only had about half the jug left and we shared it with a few other friends. Then we went to her house and hung out in her garage, while drinking out of three 6 packs of smirnoff ice. I think I had 8-10!! Anyway, I sat the whole time, I never got up to get another one or to go potty or anything, I just sat, drinking, (apparently my bladder was stronger then!!) I felt a slight buzz, but nothing major. So we decided we were going to go to her friends house, I got up, and immediately went down!! I totally fell to the floor, which everyone there found extremely amusing!! I finally got up and started to walk, and was doing alright until my bff said something not even remotely funny(which I can't remember) it just struck me as the most hilarious thing I had ever heard, I fell to the driveway and could not stop laughing!! And then I peed in my pants, which just made the situation even more comical!! I got cleaned up(luckily we wore the same size) and went to her friend's house, where I proceeded to get sick all over the poor girl's bathroom. So not fun! The next day we had a store meeting where we worked at 6 am, my brother took one look at me and asked bff what she had done to me!! Good times!! I told my now hubby what had happened and he just laughed!! Good thing he is so cute!!

I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry on that one. Funny about the "accident" but not getting sick. I have never drank so much that I got sick, one more that night might have done me in though.

OMgosh -- 8 to 10 drinks!!?? I think the last time I did something like that, I ended up where you did! I still can't drink anything close to what I was drinking that night -- orange wine coolers...ugh.

I'm sorry that I haven't been back in a while -- I need to finish up this story. In about 3 weeks, my family & I are headed back!!

I hope we get to hear about her trip also. First time in 3 years I haven't at least been able to drive over and spend the day with the BFF and her family. Think this is really going to make me experience some WDW withdrawals.

I still had a couple of hours before my departure time on ME, so we wandered back over to the Contemporary to shop around and bide our time.

I think we were kind of tired -- at least, my feet were, so I remember sitting down on a bench, and snapping this last picture:

Ironically, after that shot, I'm not sure what made us check out front for the bus (knowing that we had so much time left), but when we did, there it was!! I was a little frightened at first at the thought that I might have missed the bus, but then disappointed -- because this effectively snipped off the rest of our time together.

It was like we turned to each other and went, "Oh, wow" -- it's over.

I know I got a little teary-eyed, saying good-bye...I knew what awaited me back home: reality, and a surgery. I knew I was going to have to face that "cancer situation" - but I was so grateful for this moment, seeing Melissa's face through the window of the bus (no picture for you, just one for me), and thankful for the amazing/awesome/freedom-loving weekend we had together.

Reading that last post and seeing those pics made me tear up. It was one of those times when you don't want to do something, but you know you have to. I didn't want Vickie to leave, but I knew she had to.

I was so disappointed when I saw that bus. Wish I could have hopped on with her.

So, this may be the end of this TR, but I know there will be others.

So Vickie, one thought has been popping around in my head...DISNEYLAND!!!!

I have struggled lately keeping up with TRs (even mine!) and almost missed this one's ending!! Those pictures of your last jaunt to MK looks like a great memory maker!! Even as an adult having to part isn't any easier is it?

It looks/sounds like ya'lls trip was one you will always cherish!
