Two for One: Double Disney Birthdays! *Meg nonTR upd 9/23* // *Help out Katie! 10/22*

The DIS is doing crazy things and cut off these two replies from the page for some reason, and didn't let them reappear until I refreshed the page. :confused3

Meg, was it you saying you had not seen Daisy on another report? If you get to Epcot at opening, she is very often right after you go through the turnstiles up on the right. No line, because everyone is racing to the rope to go to Soarin'. Anyway, just thought I'd mention that, in case you were interested in getting a Daisy picture.

I have no fear of heights, but I feel the same way Charles does about closed-in spaces. I have to really talk myself through things sometimes, knowing I will be perfectly okay, but still having those natural (for me) feelings of slight panic inside. I don't much like the room closing in before I get to ride through Haunted Mansion or the doors closing shut on Tower of Terror or Star Tours, but I like the rides enough to talk myself though those parts. I feel bad for him, because I know he wishes he didn't have to deal with those height feelings, yet they are very real.

This is going to be a busy and exciting few days for you! The days will probably fly by now! :banana:

Yes, that was me. Thank you! I would love to try to find Daisy for a picture.

Charles would really appreciate your understanding of his feelings! He has a problem with escalators, because he doesn't like railings that are at or below his waist (it happens a lot because he's 6'5"), and clear glass elevators are a problem, too. He feels silly being so afraid of heights because he's such a big guy and he's so tall, but you can't help what you're afraid of. His fear of heights extends to family and loved ones, too -- he was terrified when he heard that Kailyn and I were supposed to go parasailing, and he was terrified when I mentioned the balloon ride at DTD.

I have a bunch of school stuff to get done, so that plus work is definitely going to make these next 8 days fly by!

Oh my goodness! The Harry Potter exhibit sounds absolutely amazing!!! Connor would love to go to it, I am sure! I wonder if it will be traveling...I would love to get sorted and see all the props from the movies (Connor and I have read all the books and seen all the movies -- we are definitely HP fans!) Shame on Charles for telling you it looked like the eyes were moving. :lmao:

It is a traveling exhibit -- I know it's going to Toronto next. I really hope it goes to Atlanta so you guys can see it! This is the official website -- http://www.harrypotterexhibition.com/ It says that more locations are coming soon, so I'd definitely keep checking back.

I wanted to kill him for that. :lmao: I'm so glad I didn't have nightmares about that thing!

So I may have to go see the show in Toronto since that is close to us! From everything you have said about it, it seems awesome! I too tend to double, triple, and quadruple check my bags....I have some slight OCD tendencies according to Patrick :confused3

8 Days!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Oh, good! :laughing: He lives to do crazy things...I'm glad you understand!

My hatred of the green line was a little bit lessened this time. We only had to go about one stop over, and we didn't have to look to make sure we were getting on the correctly lettered train. That will change the next time I have to take it to a Sox game. :rolleyes:

It was absolutely amazing! It's there until February 28, I think. I even got to pull up a mandrake. I was afraid to at first because I was afraid it was going to be really loud (I hate loud noises, even when they are expected), and Charles didn't want to do it, so he kept on asking me to please try it. :rotfl:

You are two weeks out TODAY! :dance3:

My dad was a chaperone when we went on a field trip to New York in 6th grade and he started a conga line with some of my friends in the middle of New York City :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I'm going to a Sox game with my dad in April, so we'll have to take the green line :headache: I managed to get me and my mom to Fenway so hopefully I can do it again :laughing:

I'd be afraid to pull it up too! :rotfl:

I've been sick all week and I've had that delirious/dizzy/sleepy thing going on. I was so out of it earlier today :laughing: I realized that I was at the two week mark and I got really excited and started crying :rotfl: I was so sleepy when it happened and then I just started laughing hysterically. It was hilarious :rotfl2:

It's starting to sink in now that I'll really be there soon. Usually we book the trips 3 months in advance, and we booked this one about 3 weeks ago so it's throwing me off :rotfl: I keep thinking we still have a lot longer to wait.

TWO WEEKS!!!!!!! :jumping1: :banana: :cool1: :dance3: :woohoo:

8 Days!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

You definitely have to! It was amazing. Just don't look at that jack-in-the-box. I seriously wanted to take my phone out right then and there and text you, but there were museum employees EVERYWHERE watching people!

I love finding out more ways in which we are so much alike. :laughing: Some of my OCD tendencies are not so slight, especially when you ask my coworkers (one in particular) -- he was training to be a supervisor and when I was showing him how to set up the pickup logs and money bags and informed him that when I did a sweep, I carried a pen with the same color ink that I used on the log because I couldn't stand when people signed in a different color. I said once that something else made my OCD cry, and now he makes references to my OCD tendencies and "not making Meg's OCD cry." :lmao:

I saw it was headed to Toronto -- like you said, I hope they add more cities to the tour. I really want to see it!

I'm sure it will hit all the big cities. I really want you guys to see it!

TWO WEEKS!!!!!!! :jumping1: :banana: :cool1: :dance3: :woohoo:

That is amazing! :rotfl2: I wasn't there for this, but I heard it from my brother -- on a train ride home from a Sox game, my dad suddenly sang, "sweet Caroliiiiine..." and the rest of the train joined in with the, "BAH BAH BAHHH..." And in a crowded train station, he once shouted, "MARCO!" and about twenty-five people shouted back, "POLO!"

I was so afraid to pull that thing up! I kept on saying, "it'll be loud," and Charles was like, "well, yeah, it's a mandrake." :lmao: It was actually heavier than it was loud...I don't know how kids pulled them up!

Oh, I hope you feel better!! That is really funny though, I have been there before :rotfl:

So close!!! :yay:

My OCD tendencies tend to do a lot with the order things are done in...I have one that really drives Patrick crazy that involves how I put on shoes (sneakers and boots, not like flip flops)...I'm just super weird about some things....I also have issues with pen ink and notes...I keep the same color pen with each notebook for the entire semester...I can't stand it when I lose my blue pen and have to write in black...though if it's on different pages it's slightly better :rotfl::rotfl:

Ok, bad news Meggie.....So apparently they are redoing the Barnstormer as a Dumbo/Clown theme :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I am not happy about this...there had better not be clown meet and greets or I'll never be comfortable in the new area....Apparently the new issue of D23 has a full article about it, I'll get it next Thursday (payday)...but by then you will be in DISNEY!!!! Maybe you can browse an issue and tell me about it :)

You should see my wallet -- all of the cards and the money have to be facing the same way, and when I switched over to another wallet where my license would be on the inside, not the outside, I was ready to have a mini meltdown because I couldn't figure out which way I should have it going. :lmao: And I'm a lefty, so everything I do first is with the left (my first ring to go on is the one I wear on my left hand, the left shoe goes on first)...I for some reason have more piercings in my left ear than my right, because that felt more "right," but I felt that the tattoo on my wrist had to go on my right wrist. :confused3 It would have felt weird to have it on my left wrist. Just thinking about it is bothering me :rotfl2:

That is NOT NICE. :scared1: Disney is not supposed to have clowns or anything even related to clowns! I will totally try to browse an issue and tell you about it, and I will even let you know if there are any creepy pictures in it to watch out for. :)

Thanks! That would be great! I may get Patrick to get me the issue this weekend though :thumbsup2 That way I can save it and read it next Wednesday while I'm in cold, dreary New York, and you are in warm, wonderful Florida....

7 Days til DISNEY :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Forgot to add...

It's now time to play the "This Time Next Week" Game!

I'm guessing at this exact time you will be on a plane...but where will you be for the rest of the day??????? :dance3::dance3:

You have more control than I do. If someone got it for me this weekend, I wouldn't be able to resist reading it right then. :rolleyes:

I need to send you a picture of my serious lack of Mickey heads! I have seven left, because the one that my dad made me for is still on there. :rotfl:

I forgot to tell you this when I texted you this morning -- I got woken up at 7:30 this morning because of construction next door. :headache: My room faces the house, so it kinda sounds like they're in my room. Fortunately I have earplugs because the same thing has happened before. Once I realized what time it was, before I fell asleep again, I was thinking, "this time next week, I'll be on a plane heading to Disney!" :rotfl2:

So...next Wednesday a little after noon, we will either be on the ME heading to Pop, or checking into Pop! :yay: Our flight leaves Boston at 7 AM, so we'll get to Orlando around 10 or a little after, ride the fake monorail, check in at the ME counter, and take the ME to Pop. I will be flipping out when I see the Disney arches, the road signs, and the Pop sign. We will check in at Pop, and hopefully get to cut through the gift shop and the food court. We may or not wait for our luggage, but we WILL hit a park, because we're going to be there nice and early and basically have almost a whole extra day. :cloud9: I love this game -- I am so going to be playing it at work today! It will be what gets me through my last 4 days there. :banana:

:scared1:
WOW ...10 pages in and I just found you. This is an awesome report. I love how you and Katie are both doing one. We all get the best of TWO trips for our withdrawls. Its almost here for you. You leave on the same day I get to go back home for the weekend! :cool1:

One week from today!!! :woohoo:

I think we all have a little OCD in us! :laughing:

DisKate I decided to reply to your question about the Syracuse Disney Store here instead of on MeMoms TR.

The store had an okay selection. I was just so happy to be in a Disney Store that I didn't care.

They had some specials. I was hoping to get a Valentine's plush beanie and I left with the whole set. They were 2 for $12.

They didn't have alot of Adult tees.

If you have anything in mind...ask me and I'll tell you if I saw it. :)

Yay! :yay: Thank you for joining in, I'm so excited I get to do this with Katie. We can help each other and everyone else through our withdrawals. :rotfl: Thank you for reading!

I kept on walking by Kailyn at work today (yup, we work together now :laughing:) and reminding her of where we'd be at that time next week. Like, "this time next week, we'll be riding Everest till we puke," or, "this time next week, we'll be riding Dinosaur till we pass out from fright."

Very true! I have a lot of OCD tendencies. I get made fun of them for them at work a LOT. :rotfl:

Thanks! I went back to school today but came home after a few hours :sick: I'm feeling better than I was earlier. I think I'll be fine by tomorrow morning. I'm glad this happened now and not in Disney!

I'm under two weeks! :cool1:

And you're only a week away now! :banana:

Woo hoo for less than a week!!! :woohoo:

Hey CP! Quick question...are you tired today? Cause apparently you were in Buffalo last night :rotfl: For some reason I had a dream that your family came to Buffalo to go to Toronto to see HP and we met up at the mall where I met Meg last year and you insisted on being called Princess Charleston the whole time....I think Meghan has passed her weird dreams on to me!

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: That's too funny! I wish I was in Buffalo headed to the HP exhibit -- that would be a lot of fun! Sadly, I was asleep on my couch by 8:00 last night. No late night jet-setting for me. ;)

My internet is being absolutely insane, and even though I was obviously logged in to reply, when I tried to post the replies, it said that I was not allowed because I wasn't logged in. :headache: This time, I'm copying and pasting before I try to post anything!

And YOU are almost in the single digits!!

I felt the same way when I was sick -- I was so glad that it was happening then and not when I was in Disney. It sometimes felt like my sinuses were full of cement. I cannot imagine trying to fly with that. :scared: I hope you are finally feeling better!

In 6 days Meghan will be waking up in Disney and heading to.....

:dance3::dance3:

The Pop Century food court :rotfl:

hmmmm...I'm hoping we can hit Epcot or MK. A morning soar would be amazing, but so would seeing the castle in the morning. DHS is my dad's favorite park, and I'm having ToT withdrawals, so I'm guessing we'll hit DHS at some point, too. I can't wait to be there and texting you about where we are!

Woo hoo for less than a week!!! :woohoo:

:yay: I'm so excited! It's really starting to hit me now that we're leaving really, really soon -- I'm trying to get a bunch of homework done before we leave, and I also realized that I never bought a camera case or an extra battery (still haven't even decided on that :rotfl: ) Hopefully that will all get done today after I finish my observations for class.
