Question when you making dining reservations and FP+ reservations is at midnight on the 180/60 day mark or does it go by Eastern time?

Dining is 6 AM Eastern Time on the 180 day. FP+ open at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on the 60 day mark for onsite and 30 day for off site. If MK closes after midnight, FP+ gets moved until 1:00am. There is a thread about it here on the Dis telling the expected days that this will happen. I almost messed up with my FP+. I was almost a day behind. You will actually stay up and do them on the day before, of course it will be the new day at midnight. I almost waited until the actual day and then would have got on at midnight that night, which would have made it the day after my FP+ window opened. I hope that isn't too confusing LOL.

So where were we? Movie Nights! I knew from reading on the Dis that I wanted to do themed movie nights before the trip. I started out making a list of movies/dinners that we would do together before the trip. There were so many movies we wanted to do, so we also made a list of movies we would watch whenever we had the chance.

We decided to start movie nights when we got to 60 days! Here is the list of movies with dinners.

1-Peter Pan
2-Brave
3-Dumbo
4-Beauty and the Beast
5-Mary Poppins
6-Sleeping Beauty
7-Cinderella

8-Alice in Wonderland
9-Frozen

I have been a bad DISer and didn't get great photos of most of the movie nights lol. I will share what I have though!

For our first movie night, we had pirate ship pizzas, treasure island brownies, fruit swords, and pirate's teeth.

I didn't get a single photo from the Brave or Dumbo movie night. We ended up eating chicken legs, mac and cheese, and blue wisp cotton candy for Brave. For Dumbo we had hot dogs, circus snack mix, fries, and popcorn!

is the recipe we used for the circus snack mix (from Google)

We also went to see the new Cinderella movie this past weekend. My kiddos haven't seen the animated version before, so they were super excited to see this one. We really loved it!

**Sorry if my pictures are huge. If they are too big, please let me know!**

In my next post I will talk about the snacks we plan to try at F&G as well as general snacks that have caught my eye! As I said earlier in the PTR, I LOVE food!!

Okay, so on to my favorite topic---FOOD!!!:hyper:

I have been reading lots of TRs while planning. I see so many awesome treats on here. I started a list of must haves a few months ago! Last week, when easywdw.com came out with their F&G review, I was excited to make my
spreadsheet (ahem--list) of foods to enjoy! All my pictures are borrowed from easywdw and Google, seeing as I have never been to WDW. ;)

So for the F&G foods---

Not all of these F&G snacks are for me (to be honest, most are haha:laughing:) The beer flights are for the DH to try.

I am most excited to try the Frushi and the Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash! I am also excited for the Florida Blueberry and Lemon Curd tart and La Tizana! The DH is excited to try both beer flights, the Ace Pineapple Hard Cider, and the Blackberry Pear Cider.

The kiddos are excited for the Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade and the Watermelon Passion Fruit Slush.

As if these weren't enough snacks, I also have more things I want to try while in Epcot!

School bread

The DH wants to try the Caramel Brownie from Karamell-Kuche.

And last, Kaki Gori

Hopefully we will be able to walk after our day of snacking! More to come later for the other parks!

You're not the only one with this trouble. I've gotten bad as of late as well.

Count me out on the La Tizana but I am so with you on the other three!

Why do I just get the feeling that the Violet Lemonade is going to stain?

Oooohh I forgot about that one! I think I may need to add it to my list as well.

Love your movie nights! Our next one is Monday. I'll post details soon on that! I love your ideas for Dumbo. I wasn't sure what to do besides popcorn and peanuts. So thank you! haha.

Oh man. Frushi looks so delicious!!! And school bread too. Evil gluten.

I totally think that it will stain! It is just too purple not too LOL. I need to write Tide Pen on my packing list before I forget lol. :-)

Yeah, I will probably get one of these as well, depending on how full I am and how empty my budget is lol.

Cute movie nights! I loved the new Cinderella too. So fun!

Thank you! We loved the new Cinderella. I have the animated version coming from Netflix this week since it is one we don't own. We will probably watch it tomorrow night so they can see how it compares to the new one!

Thank you!! Awesome, I can't wait to read about it! :D Yeah, we decided on hot dogs because they were quick and one of our families favorite meals LOL. You are very welcome!

I am SO excited about the Frushi!!! I am sorry you won't be able to try the school bread. :worried:

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I assume the Cinderella on your movie nights list is the animated version? They really need to see it. It's a classic!

Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash!
I swear, every PTR I've seen has mentioned this. And every time I think about it I get hungry.

Hopefully we will be able to walk after our day of snacking!
If not, just lay down somewhere. They'll take care of getting you out of the park when it is time to close. :thumbsup2

First up is the Hot Fudge Cookie Sundae at Storybook Treats. This one is for the DH. He loves chocolate chip cookies.
So much awesome in that picture...

We want to get a couple of these for a breakfast one morning. They just look so good!
I loved the big cinnamon rolls when they were at the pre-Starbucks Main Street Bakery. Haven't tried one at Gaston's yet though.

If you see any great snacks that I have missed, please let me know! I seriously love food LOL and I am so excited to try lots of new things while in the World!
Looks great. And I love food. I'm sure you've missed something just because there are sooooo many options, but I can't think of any MK specifics that you've really left out.

Yep, the animated version. We actually watched it yesterday because the kids had no school. They liked it a lot. :-)

That is pretty much what he said when I told him about it! :D

I have read such good things about the Main Street Bakery cinnamon rolls. I am sad that I won't get to try one. I have read the ones from Gaston's are good, but not as good. We shall see.

Thanks! I am sure I will find more things to try in the park!

I guess it's my turn to get hungry right after eating lunch!:rotfl: Soo much yumminess! :thumbsup2

All I can think of that you didn't mention would be the Sweet Cream cheese pretzel it can be found at the Lunching pad.

Love all your plans so far. You are very creative. Love the clothes! Great job on your FP. Great choices. As for snacks... you cant go wrong. My list is way to long to give you more ideas. From what you listed I loved the School Bread, and the caramel brownie. I never stick to my list. My last trip I kept talking about the carrot cake cookie... never got to it. One day. Can't wait to hear more plans and to read your TR. And yes you will be doing one.

Love all your plans so far. You are very creative. Love the clothes!

Thank you! I still have several things left to make and I am running short on time! I did buy the fabric today for Piper's Alice in Wonderland dress and Shayda's Mary Poppins dress for our 1900 Park Fare breakfast! :-)

Yeah, I figure I won't be able to stick to my list either. I will probably miss out on several things, but that gives me something to look forward to next time! :yay:
