Two Families-One World!! Our FIRST WDW Trip PTR! ***UPDATED 4/28***

I left off with snack ideas for Magic Kingdom. I am going to pick back up with our latest movie night. Last week, we got together and watched my favorite older Disney movie----Beauty and the Beast. For dinner we had Croque Monsieur, pomme frites, rose petals (strawberries), and Grey Stuff. The kids had peanut butter and jelly because they weren't fans of the Croque Monsieur sandwiches! We also had ginger ale in fancy glasses.

Looking at this picture, I notice that the Grey Stuff does not look very appetizing LOL, but it was very good. If you want the recipes for your movie nights, let me know!

I also finished two dresses for my friend. I am almost done with the last two!! I got the fabric on Friday for Piper's Alice in Wonderland dress and Shayda's Mary Poppins dress. I will start them as soon as I finish my friends dresses, since her trip is coming up very soon. She leaves April 18th!!

Hey, I'd gladly eat a bowl full of that grey stuff. I mean the rest looks good too, but who needs all that when there's grey stuff???

Thank you! The strawberries were a spur of the moment thing since they are Gabriel's favorite fruit!

I know, right! It was very yummy! :D

Okay I'm officially all caught up! Now that you're only weeks away from leaving, i'm such a bad DIS'er :rotfl2:

First off, you're so crafty I love it! Love the autograph book that your hubby was working on and the Tshirts you made. And the dresses, oh my gosh, so adorable! :worship:

And your movie nights, you go all out for sure! I especially love what you did with your last movie night, making grey stuff and having 'champagne'. And rose petals?! :worship: Did you find these ideas on Pinterest? Such fantastic ideas you have! I may have to steal some one day when DS is old enough to understand why he's eating 'rose petals' when he just barely learned that they are strawberries :rotfl2::rotfl:

School bread is a must try for sure!!! So delicious, i'm so sad I didn't get one on this last trip. And also, DEFINITELY get that cinnamon roll over at the MK. It's massive and awesome.

I can't believe our trip will be here in just a little over 18 days!! These arrived last week!

I will share photos after I get the decals on them! :cheer2:I feel like I have SOOO much left to finish! I am going to make a checklist here for myself, so maybe I will remember everything!

1. I need to finish the shirts I am making for everyone. I am doing two shirts for the whole group and then I am making 2 shirts for myself, 2 for my mom, 1 for the DH, and an outfit for Piper and Shayda.

2. I need to finish Piper's Alice dress and Shayda's Mary Poppins Dress.

3. I need to finish the autograph books.

4. I need to finish the pressed penny books and money tubes.

5. Make stroller sign

That is all I can think of right now! I hope to post more frequently since the trip is so close and I will be finishing so many projects!

On a side note, I did get the last two dresses done for my friend! She leaves for Disney on Thursday! I can't wait to follow along on her trip on FB! :cool1:

Those dresses are amazing!!! What is the fabric like? A lot of princess-y dresses my DD won't wear because they are hot and scratchy...those actually look comfortable! And sooo adorable!

:thanks: Yeah, I get almost all my ideas from Pinterest or here on the Dis! LOL, yeah my youngest DS calls all fruit "apples" still lol. :confused3

I am SO looking forward to the giant cinnamon roll!! :yay:

:thanks: They are all cotton fabric. I have made 10 for my friend's three little girls so far! They love them because they are comfy enough to play outside in and they can just be thrown in the wash just like any other clothes since they are cotton! :D

Wow! It's coming up fast! Always nice to finally get those Magic Bands!

On a side note, I did get the last two dresses done for my friend! She leaves for Disney on Thursday! I can't wait to follow along on her trip on FB!
They look great! Now stop worrying about getting things done for other people and work on your own checklist! :rotfl:

Yay for magicbands! I just finished decorating ours yesterday. The finished dresses look cute!

Thank you! I bought decals for ours, just have to find the time to put them on LOL. I am heading over now to read your post on decorating you Magic Bands!! :D

LOL, yeah, I have fallen behind on my stuff, so I need to kick it into high gear now LOL. ::yes::

I can't believe our trip is only 12 days away!! It is flying by now! I have been busy working on all the projects I have left for the last minute! :rotfl: My friend that I made the dresses for is currently in the World. She is texting me live updates and it is making me that much more excited to go! Okay, so on with our trip report!

The first thing I finished this week was our Magic Bands! We decided to go with decals for them. I think they turned out pretty nice!

The middle picture is the other side of DH's band.

We decided we wanted to get pressed pennies as part of our souvenirs. I found these neat pressed penny books at a local attraction last weekend. I then went to Pinterest and found this neat idea to use vinyl to personalize them!

This was my first time using my Silhouette for vinyl. I think they turned out pretty neat! They each hold 36 pressed pennies, so there is plenty of room in them!

I have been working on our shirts for EPCOT. I have so far finished one, LOL. :thumbsup2

We bought these neat travel journals for Shayda and Piper to use while we are down there!

I am almost finished with the Mary Poppins dress and plan to start the Alice dress this evening! I still have to sew the Animal Kingdom skirts for Shayda and Piper and finish the shirts! Time should fly by since I have so many projects left! :hyper:

Once again, I'm so amazed by your ability with crafts!! And you will be prepared for everything at Disney!! Never would have crossed my mind to have pressed penny books...but it's brilliant...because what would you do with them otherwise?? So awesome.

Thank you!!! :D I actually saw the books at this place we visited last week. I knew we wanted to get pressed pennies, so I couldn't pass them up! Plus they were only $4.50 apiece, so pretty affordable! I read that they sell them at Disney as well!

Not long now until you are doing the single digits dance!

I know!! I can't wait!! :jumping1:

WOW! This turned out great!!!!

Thank you!! :thanks:

Great idea... well all of your projects. You're far more creative than I am. Great job!
